- Sirimon Route - Depart Nairobi at 8 am heading to Nanyuki town for lunch, a journey of approximately 4 hours. Continue to Sirimon Gate, taking about 1 hour, at an altitude of 2440m. - Sirimon Route - Depart Nairobi at 8 am heading to Nanyuki town for lunch, a journey of approximately 4 hours. Continue to Sirimon Gate, taking about 1 hour, at an altitude of 2440m. From the gate, follow the path as it ascends through the forest, transitioning to heathland after around 3 hours. Approximately 3½ hours from the gate, the path turns right towards Judmaier Camp, at 3300m, for dinner and an overnight stay, L, D.
- Old Moses - Ascend through the rainforest to reach 3993m. Overnight stay will be at Liki Camp North, B, L, D.
- Shipton’s Campsite Mt Kenya - The trail continues to Shipton’s Camp, where there will be a rest period to acclimatize overnight, B, L, D.
- Mackinder’s - From Shipton’s Camp, the trail leads to Kami Hut, located below the north face of Batian. Continuing west-southwest, the trail ascends switchbacks in the fine snow before reaching Hausberg Col at 4590m. Descend into the upper Hausberg Valley and rest at the aptly named Oblong and Hausberg Tarns. Ascend to the crest of a ridge known as Arthur’s Seat to view the trail winding along a beautiful series of rock ledges. Descend to Shipton’s Camp for the night, B, L, D.
- Point Lenana - Begin at 2:00 am for an attempt to reach Point Lenana, then descend to Mackinder’s Camp for breakfast, and continue to Met Station for dinner and overnight, B, L, D.
- Nairobi - Met Station | Naromoru Gate, 9km, 3hrs | Nairobi. Descend to the park gate and transfer to Nairobi, B, L.
