An incredible day! - This was an incredible day. Our driver, Jimmy, was very knowledgeable and was able to give us much insight into The Beatles and their lives. Touring John and Paul's homes was a wonderful experience. We learned so much.
We highly recommend this tour.

Really interesting, great guides, super experience - can recommend! - Really good information and arrangements - minibus pick up from Liverpool Parkway station, friendly driver, fascinating show around John Lennon and Paul McCartney's teenage homes. The guides in both properties were really well informed, enthusiastic, and gave us such a nice experience. It's a trip we've thought of doing a lot over the years but never got round to until now, and we're so glad we did. Even if you're not/were not a huge Beatles fan, it's interesting from a historical point of view, but it's so interesting to hear about the early days of the Lennon/McCartney song writing partnership and their home life before fame - lots of details in the recreation of the decoration and furniture of the time that will chime with many of us older visitors!

A MUST for any fans - If you're a Beatles fan, go. It's amazing and moving and who knew Lennon lived on a dual carriageway?! Guide at Macca's House especially fun. A thrill to see where it all began. Book in advance, its walkways busy.

Fabulous - don’t miss it - Booked for us by a friend I didn’t really know what to expect (I’m not a huge Beatles fan but my partner is) but from the minute we got into the mini van it was an experience. The hosts (inc van driver) were amazing, passionate and knowledgable. It was fascinating hearing the stories and in Paul’s house a special recording from Paul talking about his childhood home.
A really lovely and emotional afternoon, absolutely would recommend ..

Very special visit - This is a must for fans of The Beatles. To visit Lennnon and McCartney childhood homes was so informative
The guides at the houses were so helpful and informative and entertaining. With little anecdotes that brought the homes to life. On our day it was Paula at Medips and Peter at Fortlyn Road. I have difficulty standing for any time but there were plenty of chairs to sit on.
The mini bus driver was helpful too. Willing to help me in and out of the minibus.
Highly recommended. As a National Trust member it is good to know that the Trust isn't just about grand houses.

Get Back … to where it all began! - We booked and attended the double tour of the Beatles childhood homes of John & Paul.
The booking process was fairly simple - I can recommend getting the guide books included in advance as I didn’t see any on sale at the houses.
We were picked up by Lee in a mini bus from Liverpool South Parkway and taken to John’s house first.
We were shown round by John (not that one!) who was very personable and knowledgeable with lots of facts and stories about the home, the people that lived there and some events.
Then we were taken to Paul’s house where Peter was the guide - again very knowledgeable and friendly with similar style of content.
We were allowed to take photos outside but not inside. The tour part lasted about 25 mins and there was some time to wander freely - at both houses.
The decor, atmosphere and smells of both were evident and as authentic as they can be after so many years, but a number of genuine items and furniture are still there. There are also some exhibits and photos which are very interesting and some unique to this experience.
Some of the stories are quite moving and you get a real sense of the simplicity and naivety of their early lives.
This makes it all the more remarkable that they went on to do what they did.
A fascinating tour for the fanatical Beatles fan or indeed a casual fan or even a historian.
Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience ***** - We visited Liverpool in April as my two sons are big Beatles fans . My youngest son turned 18 so this was a treat for him . I have to say the whole trip with Fab Four taxi tours was amazing.
Robert our driver was so knowledgeable, polite , friendly, he went above & beyond to make my son’s birthday extra memorable. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and seeing where The Beatles grew up was outstanding .
I would 100 % recommend Fab Four taxis to anyone it was well worth the money. Five stars *****

Liverpool Taxi Tours by Gareth - Gareth is an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. His commentary on the tours was excellent. He knows all the top locations and little hidden gems in Liverpool and area. Along with the Beatles Tour, Gareth guided me along in my Heritage Tour. I traveled from Vancouver, BC to explore my roots and was grateful to have been guided by Gareth. OI highly recommend Liverpool Taxi Tours.

A day in the life - Outstanding, an honour to be stood where they stood.
The bus driver (Andrew) was brilliant from the start and the guides in the houses excellent especially John at Lennons old house. I didn’t particularly fancy that one looking forward to Paul’s old house but Johns knowledge and delivery made it the highlight.

If You Love the Beatles, Don't Miss This! - I didn't expect to be so emotionally moved by stepping into the childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, but it was brilliant. The only complaint I have is that I felt a little rushed through Mendips because they stack the tours too tightly together. Despite being very small homes, they are packed with artifacts worthy of pondering. Still, don't miss this experience: Just take it in as fully as you can with the few minutes you have.
