Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, an ideal tour to get to know the henequen crops that were so famous at the time of the ‘Green Gold’, during the tour you will enjoy a visit to the main house in which you will understand the historical framework within which these haciendas arose , in addition to admiring the beauty of this construction and the period furniture.

During the tour you will have the opportunity to observe the processes required to obtain henequen fibers, which are ultimately turned into products such as threads, ropes, sacks, tote bags, and rugs. The hacienda tries at all times to maintain an environment in which you can take a trip to the past and for this it uses a platform pulled by mules, as was done more than 100 years ago, to see the henequen plantations.
