This experience is a walking tour, in the most emblematic buildings of the Merida´s Heart, during the tour you will feel that you return to the past by learning more about the history of the city and the buildings that are visited during the Tour.

Great experience - Fantastic overall walking tour by Eduardo. He is very knowledgeable with family roots within the region, and this tour covers the major highlights of this beautiful city. The weather was very hot and humid so be sure to wear something light but also covers your skin if you are susceptible to UV light.

Exceptional City Tour Experience with Eduardo! - My friends and I had an incredible city tour in Merida with Eduardo. A highlight of our trip - This tour was amazing, worth at least twice what we paid, and should be a priority for first time visitors to Merida. Eduardo is a very enjoyable person and is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and it’s notable buildings. He provided all kinds of interesting information about the Mayan culture and its continued presence through the inquisition to today. He told fun stories and illuminating anecdotes about Merida and its residents and gave us fabulous recommendations for other activities. Additionally he generously offered his assistance with future questions and reservations for the duration of our stay. It thoroughly enhanced our trip! Many thanks!!

A must to city tour! - My Guide Mike is fantastic.He met me early in the morning. We had a delicious healthy breakfast and did walking tour.
The tour was done extremely well with very interesting details, and with a profound knowledge of the area and the history. I really appreciate all of the special touches that Mike put into our short time together. He was a specially kind and sensitive to every need I highly recommend this tour Dr. G.

Informative and fun - Being my first day in Merida, this was a very good introduction to the culture and region. Eduardo is a guide with a lot of wisdom and patience. I was able to take very beautiful photos of churches and very captivating views. Recommended for everyone who wants a clear introduction to Merida.

Nice way to discover Merida - We arrived a bit early at the agreed hotel and guide Eduardo was already there.
Had a light breakfast and then the tour started.

An entertaining and informative tour - Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable about his city. He explained both the Mayan and Spanish history in a clear and easy to understand manner. He also spoke the Mayan language and could translate the many signs in Mayan. I really liked this tour of the city.

Private city walk with enthusiastic guide Mike - Nice walk led by enthusiastic guide Mike. A lot is told about, among other things, the Mayan culture and the origins and development of Merida. Mike speaks excellent English and will send additional information afterwards with practical tips.
