Excellent, and filling, way to experience Merida - I always enjoy food tours when I travel, and this one which also included getting to visit cantinas was early on my list of things to do in Mérida. On this one we got to experience the market and to two cantinas, eating veggies, meats, and sweets along thec way. Laura was a great guide, super knowledgeable and was able to flex to meet our needs. I did two tours with the company and was impressed by both.

Good experience to introduce in Mérida - wonderful experience touring the Mérida market, we tried fruits and local foods, our guide Laura (thank you very much) explained in great detail each stand and the food we tried, our favorite was ceviche, a great activity to start exploring the city.

Fabulous tour - Laura L. was a fabulous tour guide from start to finish. She offered great insights in Yucatán, México, and Mérida histories as we walked. I especially liked the agricultural information she provided. Laura was quick at adapting to our needs and managing the timing of the tour’s points of interest. I enjoyed all the friendly food vendors we met at the market. Great cantinas with a wide choice of beers. Plus, the botanas were wonderful. The tour was a marvelous way to get to know Yucatan. Thank you.

Fabulous Flavors of Merida - We spent a delightful day in Merida exploring the sights, sounds, and flavors of the Yucatan with our kind and knowledgeable guide, Laura. She guided us through the streets of the city to the market with its many colorful stalls. We met the vendors and tasted the amazing fresh fruits, tacos and desserts they offered while showing our appreciation for the amazing array of foods. The tour also included a visit to a gelato shop which was perfectly timed to cool us off in the middle of the warm Mexican day. Our final stop at a cantina was a relaxing way to end a day of delicious tastes and the wonderful friendliness from the people we met along the way.

Best introduction to Mérida's food culture - Anyone visiting the beautiful city of Mérida should take this tour! The Market Tasting and Yucatecan Bars Tour from Adventures Mexico offers an outstanding introduction to the city's vibrant food culture and beyond. Our local guide, Iveth, was super engaging, knowledgeable, and fun; we were also able to pick her brain about restaurants and other things to do while visiting. I can't recommend this experience enough!

Great Tour with a Great Guide - We chose this food tour as our excursion when our cruise stopped in Progreso. It was definitely worth the extra travel time. The Yucatecan food was delicious and more than filling, and it was great to explore the city. Make sure you ask for Iveth as your tour guide if you can. We had to arrive late and leave early due to some travel difficulties, and she was the consummate professional. She was also friendly, helpful, and passionate and knowledgeable about the food of the region. I would absolutely recommend this experience.

Great Addition to our time in Merida - Pamela was awesome and made the experience informative and fun. It was the perfect mix of the market and the cantinas. She also gave great recommendations for the rest of our time in the area. Highly recommend this tour for a perfect mix of food and drinks.
