Worth a trip - Chichen Itzá is always worth a visit. The tour guide gave detailed information. Swimming in the cenote was also very refreshing given the high temperatures. Lunch was OK.

Great tour :) - Loved Chichen Itza and Chichikan Cenote. We really had fun. Miguel was a very good guide. Lunch buffet was also really good. Only thing that could be better was the shuttle which was a bit small and tight.

Overall enjoyable day - Enjoyable and interesting day learning about the history of Chichen Itzá and the Mayan people, with Miguel as our guide he did very well speaking both Spanish and English clearly to communicate with the whole group and made it fun. Great food at the buffet and the facilities where the cenote were decent. The only part of the day the wasn’t good was the size of the group (large group of people) and given we only had a the one guide, the other tourists not listening to the timeframes set or wandering off from the group In which made us have to wait around. Would recommend this tour, but please read the instructions on what to pack and listen to the guide.

Nice tour but unfortunately too little focus on English - Miguel was a very nice and competent guide. Our group consisted almost exclusively of Mexicans and for us Germans, the most important facts were translated into English during the tour of Chichen Itza. Unfortunately, we didn't learn as much about the culture and buildings as we would have hoped. This was probably partly because the tour took place in the blazing sun and not under the trees on the site, but also because the Spanish part of the explanations was sometimes twice as long as the English part. Miguel still made every effort and focused on us when we had questions, for example we were able to explain what we already knew about the Maya, what a cenote is and so on.
The visit to the cenote was a highlight after the hot tour, but the 2-hour drive back to Mérida was tough.

Cancelled Tour - Two days before our tour we received an email saying that it had been cancelled. We were given alternative choices of a day earlier or a day later, but we already had tours scheduled for those days. I was unable to contact anyone in person. Fortunately I was able to cancel the tour and receive a refund. The last minute cancellation upset my carefully scheduled trip. Very disappointing.
