Highlights
  • Punch Lane Wine Bar & Restaurant - We’ll amble through secret alleyways, taking in a varied array of street art that’s off the usual path. I’ll provide insights into the artists, their sources of inspiration, and their creative methods.

Then, as we meander through Chinatown and a historical district (once known as Little Lon), we’ll delve into Melbourne’s history and its explosive expansion during the Gold Rush era. I’ll relate intriguing tales about the vibrant individuals who made this place their home and the extraordinary hardships they encountered.

Next, we’ll stop by a renowned wine bar, rich with its own history, for a tasting session featuring a trio of wines from both old and new world regions, paired with Portuguese-style small plates. Envision interiors of deep mahogany and burgundy leather seating beneath an expansive blackboard listing wines in chalk script.

You’ll get the chance to discover the eccentricity, inventiveness, and splendor of this magnificent city, and I’ll highlight some of my top wine bar recommendations for you to explore further.
