Superstar tour guide Jill - Our tour guide Jill was phenomenonal, there were 2 large parties on our tour and they refused to follow her instructions, with one getting lost. Jill was mortified that it had impacted our tour and experience and offered us a free personalised tour to make it up. Honestly we enjoyed enough of the tour but the fact she felt bad when the tour group was out of her control but her attention to us an making sure we were not impacted made us feel truly special. This is a must if you love cricket of AFL, I attended as a fan of sports and stadium and it is a very impressive tour. The museum of sport is very well set up and very interactive if that is your thing.

Tour of the MCG in Melbourne - The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and sports museum is an all around fantastic museum. Our host (John) is a character and fantastic storyteller about the history of the stadium.

A fabulous and must do experience in Melbourne. - What a wonderful tour! I absolutely love the MCG and this tour certainly sealed that love. Our guide, Craig was a wealth of knowledge and shared with us many wonderful stories of the MCG. You get to stand on the ground, go into the bleachers and also into the changing rooms. This is a must do if you are ever in Melbourne.

Great cheap family excursion - The only improvement would be a coffee shop and actually allowing a run on the grass. Otherwise it's a great trip.

Disappointing Tour Guide - I had done this tour before and thoroughly enjoyed it so on this occasion I did the tour with my wife. Unfortunately on this occasion I didn't enjoy the tour based on the tour guide we had on this occasion. Our guide Phil spent more time talking about his 30 years of policing, name dropping, where he had travelled overseas, his and his family's personal experiences. Which were of no relevance to the MCG & I found this to be quite boring. Our group were hurried along with Phil saying we were behind schedule however if Phil had ceased talking about himself and delivering information more specific to the MCG I would suggest that our group would not be behind schedule. On the previous tour I was delivered more specific information and shown many more points of interest whereas on Phil's tour many of these things were overlooked or rushed past.

Poor - I had been looking forward to this trip since I arrived in Melbourne whilst the stadium is awesome the tour was poor!! All tours are allocated 75 minutes which is no where near enough to see everything we ended up having to practically run at the end spent less than 4 minutes in the library and didn't get to see the changing rooms because of football next day which I can understand but if we had have seen the rooms what would we have had to miss out on ! Maybe the management at the MCG should cut down the number of tours and increase allotted time it would have made it so much more enjoyable! The Australian museum of sport was worth the visit though
