You can choose from a predefined travel plan or let us tailor-make a tour just for you - it’s your call.

Opt for this half-day itinerary for an excursion in any direction from Melbourne (including north, south, east, or west, encompassing hills and bays). The tour can include single or multiple stops, depending on the route you choose from Melbourne.

Potential attractions include vineyards and local breweries, rural eateries and pubs, art exhibitions and sculpture gardens, botanical vistas, scenic roadways, coastal sectors and beachfronts, picnicking spots, heritage-rich towns, hilly landscapes, and walking trails.

Superb service and communication - Wonderful Kind knowledgeable about the Melbourne area. My husband and I loved hearing his story on how he fell in love with this place. It was nice to have a local person show us around. He picked us up right at the end of the pier. Communication with John was amazing. Don’t hesitate to give him a try.

Riding in style - John was a great guide. Touring in his classic car was amazing. John is very knowledgeable admit the area. He is very down-to-earth. He made us feel like we were family. John is also flexible. We had an unplanned issue arise, John adjusted our meeting time and starting point to suit our needs. Thanks John, you're awesome!

Classic Car Private Tour - The trip was so unique, and the best way to do a day trip of my travels around the world. I was able to customise the day visiting areas that typically a bus trip is unable to accommodate. The '56 Chevrolet is so brilliantly restored and stylish and makes for a memorable experience and great day out. I would do it again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant 3 hours! - John is a brilliant guide - an expert on the local terrain, history, lunch venues and art galleries (with a side of soothing jazz to boot) All in his lovingly and meticulously restored Chevvie. What more could you ask for?

A drive worth taking - What a wonderful way to spend a day. While perfect for a tourist this adventure is just as perfect for a Melbourne local. Revisiting places you know and love from the back seat of an old classic car, while the charming driver John shares his passion for both Chevy’s and Melbourne, was such a delight. I will definitely go driving again with d’Luxe Classic Car Tours.

Smooth Ride - Cruising with John in his '56 Chevy is a truly glamorous experience! Such a beautiful machine, with an immaculate interior and original features, the Chevy is big and comfortable and the perfect vehicle for sight-seeing. John is an excellent host, suggesting places I would like, with a groovy cafe stop along the way to the Sculpture Park at Heide Museum of Modern Art and a fabulous lunch. For a dedicated Sydney-sider, this was a fabulous way to experience Melbourne and I can't wait to hear John's ideas for my next trip, when I hope to see some of rural Victoria.

Lunch at Radio Springs Hotel - John picked our group up on time and immediately suggested coffee! I knew I was going to enjoy the day with John. The car was immaculate and he had lots of stories about the car and the area. We stopped at some quirky places that John had suggested all good. Lunch was great at a small pub. The food was amazing teamed with some great local craft beers and wines from Victoria. I was glad that John was doing all the driving home! Would definitely recommend John for a memorable day out.

Road trip to Kyneton - Had a fantastic day out with the windows down and John at the wheel. We stopped in for a late morning snack at the Tooborac Hotel and Brewery and then meandered through the rolling hills to Kyneton for an afternoon pie at Monsieur Pierre. Can't think of a better way to get around.

Fantastic Day - We had an excellent day. John was more than accommodating and was happy for us to alter the start/finish locations. Took his recommendation on an itinerary and really enjoyed each place, found some hidden gems!
