Highlights
  • Brighton Bathing Boxes - Arriving at around 12:30, take a stroll around this unique beach, Selfie with the 82 vibrant beach huts, and enjoy the view of Melbourneā€™s skyscrapers.
  • Puffing Billy Railway - Arrive at around 14:30, and then either have your lunch at the Cafe or take in the natural surroundings by the lake. Then meet at 15:45 in front of the station entry and get ready for your trip, you may imagine yourself traveling back in time to the 19th century as you ride the Puffing Billy Steam Train over the picturesque DANDENONG Mountains.
  • The Nobbies - The Nobbies let visitors zoom in on the largest colony of Australian fur seals that call the rocks around the centre home. This offers an excellent opportunity to look out over the seal colony as they languish and frolic on the rocks and in the water.

As well as seals, the landscape surrounding the Nobbies Information Centre is full of colourful bird species. Many varieties nest and feed on the cliffs, so keep your eyes peeled!

Inside the centre, new-age screens display short presentations that dive into the life and habitat of Phillip Island. Here, you can learn more about the seals and birds you watched earlier.

The observation deck (which is perhaps the most popular part of the centre) offers the best vantage point for watching the colony of seals, but it also offers views right out to the Flinders National Park, where, if youā€™re lucky, you can spot Western Port Bay in the distance.

  • Phillip Island Nature Parks - Penguin Parade - As the sun sets, we head out to Summerland Beach and grab a spot on the boardwalk. Observe hundreds of little penguins come up to the shore, making their way across the beach to their homes in the sand dunes. See the worldā€™s smallest penguin in its natural habitat from viewing stands and boardwalks. Enjoy educational displays in the visitor centre and the spectacular coastal scenery from the Penguin Parade. This experience is sure to be the highlight of your visit. Amazing tour! - The trip was amazing. Not only was the guide friendly and professional, he was also very calm in a sticky situation when a passenger suddenly interrupted him during the drive and demanded for him to stop speaking Chinese, as the passenger didnā€™t speak it. He patiently explained that this tour was supposed to be mainly a Chinese speaking tour. He actually has tried his best to speak English and looked after the English speaking passengers as well. In addition, a QR code for further information in both Chinese and English has been provided. The driver was Heny/Henry, who was exceptionally kind and understanding. The guide explained well, and clearly told us what the locations were, how long we were staying at the locations, where to go, and when to come back to the bus. He also gave long descriptions of the locations and their history. Thank you Henry/Heny, youā€™ve made our day!

Excellent service - Service from this tour company is amazing. My daughter was so sad when our first booking for penguin/Phillip island was canceled. But with the help of Lok and Eva from ExtraGreen tour company, we can rearrange the booking. We were very happy that we get to see the little penguins before we go back. šŸ˜Š

Good tour experience with litte flaw - Tourist spot: Good. Almost all are attractive, worth to go. Clearance: tour coach explain/introduce tour information very well and patient. Time managenent : Just fine. Depart/Return on-time. Able to visit every point scheduled. But guests didn't have time for dinner. It'll be good to set dinner time for guests next time.

What a crap trip - will NEVER recommend it! - The driver drove erractically, often speeding and hitting bumps in the road at full speed. The bus I travelled on had no immediate advertising on it so I didn't know that bus was the one I was travelling on when it arrived. The driver spoke 99% of the time in Chinese - and although my initial booking said it was a Chinese tour - I did send a text message prior to the tour to let the operator know my partner and I only spoke English. Needless to say my partner and I (who were the ONLY non Chinese passengers), missed alot of information that the driver/guide provided. The guide was NOT clear on why we stopped several times, again, probably due to explaining the stops in Chinese not English. The "coach" (who's kidding anyone it was a SMALL BUS)...was uncomfortable and I didn't enjoy the travel at all. My partner was alot more forgiving of the whole experience but personally I wouldn't recommend the whole experience.

Fine - The tour guide was really nice.. the bus though wasnā€™t a coach, it was a small bus.. it was raining massively in the day so, we didnā€™t get enjoyed the tour but they told us it canā€™t be changed even though it was raining since it was supposed to be scenic tour..
