Amazing - Visiting Chefchaouen was one of the highlights of my trip to Morocco. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this small town is famously known as the “Blue Pearl” – and it truly lives up to its name. Almost every street, alley, and wall is painted in calming shades of blue, creating a surreal, almost fairytale-like atmosphere.

Chefchaouen from Fez - This tour was a fantastic way to explore the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen without the stress of planning. The drive from Fez was long but comfortable, with scenic views along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave helpful tips for exploring the medina. Once in Chefchaouen, we had plenty of free time to wander, shop, and take photos. The town is even more beautiful in person! Highly recommended for travelers wanting a hassle-free, well-organized day trip.

Enchanting Blue City - Chefchaouen is a must do trip for anybody coming to Morocco, in my opinion. The entire Medina with every house and structure in different shades of blue is vibrant and so enchanting. The trip was delayed and we were getting irritated initially but the operator then sent us in a car where there were only 4 of us. Our guide cum driver for the trip was Mohsin who is not only an excellent and safe driver but also a charming young man.

Decent trip at a decent price - Overall a great experience in Chefchaouen from Fez. The drive is a little long but the knowledgeable drivers did their best to point out interesting landmarks along the way. They also stopped periodically for bathroom breaks, pictures, and snacks. Considering how long the trip is (~3 hours one way) we got about a 1 hour guided tour through Chefchaouen followed by 3 hours to hang out before driving back to fez. The waterfall in the medianas is a must see. If you have the time I'd suggest you stay for a day or two then go elsewhere. This company does one way trips as well.

Beautiful city worth a visit but lots of road - Mohamed was very kind and picked us up from our hotel. We took the small group option up to 8 people. It was pleasant especially for the road because the car was air-conditioned and comfortable. Chefchaouen is far from Fez (4 hours drive counting breaks), so it's been a big day but the city is beautiful and worth a visit! However, we had a guide for our group of 8 who spoke almost exclusively Spanish (nationality of the other 6 people) and it was quite disappointing from that point of view; he only took us to pretty alleys to take pictures without giving information about the city or history and, while he also had to speak French, had to tell us a few sentences in total. You leave at 7:50 from Fez, you drive 4 hours, you leave at 4:15 pm and will be home by 8:30-9 pm approximately. However, beware of those who are sick of transport: it is a mountain road and they all drive like crazy, passing each other in the corners and without speed limit. Sensitive souls, abstain or, like us, provide plastic bags in case of the urge to vomit...

Great but skip the guided tour - Drivers collected us promptly and took us to a bus with other guests. We had 2 pit stops all smooth. Once we got there, we had a guided tour by a local - I would say skip this you can't hear him and it wasted a hour of our time there. Also he will recommend a fish restaurant and say he doesn't get comission for recommending them- that's a lie. Again you'll waste so much time. The place is great lots of lovely shops to go in. My only issue is how rushed you are there. As they waste so much time with the guide. But lots of picture opportunities.

An Okay Experience at best - Aziz our driver was very good However, the drive was really long (around 3.5-4hr each way) and the vehicle was hot and stuffy. The tour guide that was organised for us in Chefchaouen could speak only very weak English. He walked around with us very slowly, giving us one or two broken sentences at each checkpoint. It was quite awkward and not really informative. It’s worth seeing the city, but there’s not much to do there if you’re staying there for longer than just a few hours. PS. There’s a LOT of cats here!

Great tour, just look for a safe travel operator. - The tour is fantastic. The place is excellent. We had a terrible experience with the driver. Drove very fast on a rainy morning and did a 180” spin on the road. Luckily nobody got hurt. But it could have been worst. My recommendation is that tour operators should start earlier this way drivers don’t need to drive fast. It’s a 3.5 hour drive. Also make sure that drivers have the necessary experience and make sure they drive safe and not drive as they are in race track. Other than that the experience is wonderful.

We were hoping for a day... - We were hoping for a day trip to Chefchaouen to experience the storied blue city. Our tour guide was kind and kept everyone’s spirits up but did little “guiding” en route to the city. Upon reaching the city, we were made to follow a local tour guide. He did not explain any of the culture or history of the city, and just took us on a walk through the markets. He ultimately was trying to take us to a very particular restaurant, which made us skeptical, so we peeled off. The van that we were in was also very subpar. An older vehicle, it had a broken seat and broken seat back tables and pockets. The air conditioning kept turning off, which made the ride quite toasty. The driver, though, was very skilled.
