Fun for 3 generations - My mother-in-law was visiting Japan, so I was looking for a class that all three generations could enjoy together. My 3 year old son really enjoyed the freestyle IKEBANA thanks to Hiromi-san.

Experience the splendor of traditional Japanese culture! - When you hear "Ikebana," you may think it's intimidating, but the teachers and students have a friendly atmosphere and it's easy to attend, so I've taken the class several times. I'm grateful that I can receive careful instruction even though I'm a beginner and have little knowledge of flowers (^^) On this day, I made Ikebana on Mt. Kenzan using tulips and Japanese dogwood. Each time, I get to touch the flowers that change with the season, which has a great healing effect! It's a rich time that makes me feel glad to be born Japanese.

Incredible ikebana experience! - My wife and I were always interested in learning “Ikebana” which is an authentic and traditional floral arrangements in Japan. Hiromi kindly shared us the basic elements of ikebana and taught us how to arrange/design flowers which essentially is a form of meditation. She spoke fluent English and everything that was shared to us was very easy to understand. Also, the lesson takes place in central area of Tokyo so attending the lesson was not a hassle at all. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to learn from the basics of Ikebana as well as for people whom are already accustomed to the art as Hiromi is an excellent teacher.

Wonderful Ikebana class! - What a wonderful way to end my trip! Hiromi was so welcoming and the best teacher! She met me at the station and guided me to the location carrying an umbrella to shield us both from the intense sun. She explained everything very clearly and helped me along the way as needed. I had such a lovely time. I can't recommend this experience highly enough! Thank you so much!

Great class for beginners! - Class taught by Hiromi was very exciting and fulfilling. The class was held in quiet traditional Japanese room. She gave me the basic information about Ikebana and Tea Ceremony. Not only giving the class but also she listened thoughtfully about my passion toward the flower and gave me some advice. The class took about 1:30 hours. She shows how to properly cut the flowers and arrange them. After that you can try arranging by yourself. Since Ikebana focuses on the beauty of flower's line and water you won't use many flowers. So it doesn't take that long.

Excellent teacher - great for beginners! - It was my first Ikebana class and Hiromi has made the experience so memorable! She is very professional and knowledgeable yet very friendly and approachable. She explained the theory and demonstrate clearly then allow us to practice while giving a very clear guide throughout the process. At the end of the class, I was able to make a basic ikebana arrangement and was really pleased with the result. I totally recommended her class!!!
