Guatapé hike and Peñol - Guatapé was one of our favorite experiences in Colombia! Artur our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He made the day very special and the places we went were beautiful!

Wonderful! - Amazing experience at Guatapè, la Piedra del Peñol and tour boat! The most important and beautiful part was our tour guide who told a lot of thinks about history of Colombia and South America. We were fascinated. Just do it!

Would recommend this private tour! - We had a private tour with Arturo, he really made our day. He gave us a lot of interesting information so you understand the history of Colombia and where its beauty comes from today. The stairs were tough to climb but the view up there is amazing, what a reward. We passed the old house of Pablo Escobar dring the boat trip and stoppen at towns where you can taste chocolate limonade and buy local art. As already said, Arturo is a great tourguide who exactly knows how to inform and entertain you at the same time, thanks again!

Amazing day trip from Medellin - I absolutely loved this tour of Guatapé with Arturo. He is so knowledgeable about Colombian history and present day, and was able to provide an experience and education beyond just Guatapé, including Communa 13 and the history of the Black population in the country. The lunch was delicious and had a good vegan option and the boat ride was both fun and education, we get to see one of Pablo Escobar’s homes that was attacked after his death!

EXCELLENCE - I don’t what I fell in love more with, if our tour guide Artur or Medellin. His love for the city and vast knowledge was everything! We LEARNED so much. Fantastic day trip to Guatapé! - Fantastic day trip!
Our guide Diana Ramirez and driver Julian
took great care of us and we learned a lot about the culture and history of Colombia! In addition, Diana accompanied us up the rock of El Piñol, walked us through the city of Guatapé, organized an authentic lunch and shared her
personal experiences growing in Medellin. Diana took excellent photos and showed us the highlights of the region!

Great experience - This is a 100% obligatory stop on your tour through Colombia.
You will get to see the peñon which offers a really outstanding view of the lake, eat great traditional food and also get a boat ride through the lake, where your guide will explain the history of the town.
If you are interested in some of the more particular history of the country, and some gossip is of your interest the guide will also explain some ins and outs around the houses of celebrities that own a home there or that have owned one.
Really interesting visit, a bit more outside the traditional tour you might do around Colombia, would 100% recommend it.
