Excellent.. worth it .. - Tour guide, arrangements and attention to details are just few highlights of the trip. Thank you for taking care of all our requests during the trip. Key differentiator ... English speaking which is extremely hard to find in Colombia.

Great tour! - I did a tour in commune13 and It was amazing! A tour is such a cool way to explore the city. Our tour guide Andres was really knowledgeable and could tell us all the ins and outs about the area. He showed us great places to have a drink or enjoy the view. Could def. recommend Nomads :-)

Beautiful Views - My tour guide Gabriel gave this amazing tour during my first week in Medellin. I enjoyed some buñuelos downtown and local fruit from the marketplace before heading up to El Faro, where the graffiti was very artistic. Oscar, one of the local community leaders, along with his dogs joined us and told his story as we trekked to the top of the mountain to see a spectacular view of the city. Absolutely recommend.

Medellín through the farmers eyes tour - This is the best tour I’ve ever been on. I highly recommend booking any of Andrés experiences. Very unique and original. Away from tourist traps and a way to see a different side of Medellín. There is nothing else like it. Meeting at El Poblado metro station was very convenient. Andres also helped me get back to my hostel at the end which is very much appreciated. I loved the steep bus ride to get to El Faro and seeing the local neighborhoods. The view from cerro pan de azucar was amazing and worth the hike. All around perfect experience. Book it now!

Amazing tour and amazing guide! - Andre’s was by far the best tour guide I’ve had the chance to encounter. As you can see I never really rate services but I could not help and give him and his company a raving review! We did a full day tour of Guatape and did not felt rushed whatsoever. He gave us all the information we need and also let us decide which part of the tour we wanted to do. Which was refreshing because alot of times during your typical tour there is just a structure of activites and youre herd around like cattle! Secondly, Andreś helped us even book a coffee tour that his business did not do but found an excellent company that did. He truly gave us a genuine, exciting, and informational tour! Thank you! Highly recommend Andreś and his company NOMAD!

An amazing day - We have been to Medellin many times and have done almost all of the typical touristy stuff. This tour definitely offered something different. Andres was well organized and the whole day was extremely well planned and coordinated. We saw many parts of Medellin we had not seen before. We took the tram and visited the oldest covered market which were both very interesting, and then visited Communa 8 and climbed the mountain for a magnificent view of the city. .Andres brought in community leaders to explain how they lived and the difficulties they were facing and how they were trying to better their community. It was all very interesting and informative, and not something you would see on a typical tour. Andes was friendly and informative and obviously very committed to being socially responslible. Bring water, its a bit of a hike, but well worth it. It was a very enjoyable day

Medellín through the farmers' eyes -- unforgettable, authentic experience in the heart of Colombia - In November, my boyfriend and I participated in the "Medellin through the farmers' eyes" tour led by Andrés, and it truly ended up being one of our trip highlights. If you’re looking for an experience that is authentically “off the beaten path,” exposes you to unique facts and breath-taking views of the city, and brings you closer to the heart and soul of Medellín, this is it. Andrés’ enthusiasm and expertise of Medellín’s history and current social dynamics was clear from the beginning. What made the experience especially stand out was his genuine connection to the communities you meet and spend time with on the tour — this gave our super welcoming and informative immersion an even more personal touch. Because Andrés has a strong relationship and mutual respect with these communities, it was a very interactive tour and we got to learn firsthand stories about the farmers’ and community’s struggles, values, and projects. I was impressed and grateful Andrés showed us perspectives you guaranteed won’t normally come across in a conventional tour, or a museum. This is his passion, and he does it well. If you want to be inspired by Medellín at a deeply local level, I highly recommend this hands on, one of a kind experience.
