- Medelln - Medelln, a city that until a few years ago nobody recommended, much less thought to visit, is today a destination recommended by The New York Times and National Geographic, for being a city that has been reinventing itself from an extremely violent past, to be in the Currently one of the leading cities in terms of urban planning and social innovation.
In this ONLINE EXPERIENCE we are going to redefine the way to discover a city and its culture, and why not, motivate you if you have not already done so, to come and feel the magic of Medelln.
To develop our dynamics, we will use a map of Medelln as a game board, where you will find all the public transport lines with their respective stops drawn. We will use photographs to take a virtual tour, in which YOU will be in charge of navigating, moving around the city and discovering each of the places that marked different events in the history of Medelln.
As host, I will be the moderator of the dynamics and in charge of providing the different explanations, but I will also be one more participant in it.

Let me present myself - I’m Sebastián, a native of Medellín, 31 years of age. By profession, I am an architect and urban planner who is deeply in love with my city. I’ve been involved in the design and execution of several Medellín projects, and I’m fortunate to have witnessed the amazing transformation of my city, touring all its districts that were once inaccessible. It’s quite astonishing how Medellín, once the world’s most violent city in 1991, evolved to become a pioneer in urban planning and social innovation globally.
Over the past two years, I’ve hosted over 2000 individuals as part of the experience I offer in Medellín, garnering excellent reviews. My aim now is to leverage technology to extend my reach beyond, sharing the awe-inspiring story of Medellín.
