Real Coffee Comes from Colombia! - I had a great time. We learned so much about coffee and how it is made on a Colombian farm. Our tour guide was named David I think. He had braces. He was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. I was picked up at my hotel and taken to the farm. It is about 40 minutes away. When you get there, they go over the traditional clothing and then you get your own to go pick beans. We tried a drink made of the shell or muselin. It was cold. We also tried the muselin alone. Our guide was great. He knew everything about coffee. He took us up about 7 levels to pick beans and then we put them in the machine to separate the beans from shell. We saw how they sundried the beans and were offered candies. After picking we were offered coffees to taste and smell. They also served lunch. It was traditional. If you are picky, take a lunch. I def recommend taking water. After lunch we rode the horses and mules. They are very broke and gentle. The climb up and down the mountain is a little intimidating, but there is a guide with you the entire time and he takes photos. It was a good experience especially for the price. They sell souvenirs as well. And take you back to your hotel or where ever you need. Great Experience. You must do it once in your life.

Glorious experience. Must do!!!! - So absolutely engaging, fun and educational. To know about coffee allows you to experience coffee at a new level. I learned so much. The finca and the crew were all remarkable and so giving. I am vegan and they accommodated me. Their coffee tea is to die for. An absolute hit with my adult kids. We topped it off with the horse back riding into the amazing hills. Must do to feel the vibe of this glorious country.

Coffee with hou - Great tour if you're interested in Colombia coffee. We got tasting with tea and different styles of coffee. David was very informative and he did great explaining on how it all began. Lunch was great they gave us a traditional Colombian tamale lunch wrapped in banana leaves The horse tour was last. They provide Mules and about 3 real horses for that. The guides were great with the animals and I felt safe during the ride. I would do it again.

Very cool experience that... - Very cool experience that gives you an appreciation for the coffee making process. I usually don’t drink coffee , but I enjoyed this experience still the people that partake in making this experience possible are amazing and kind people. Seeing them work together and help each other to make us comfortable was very heartwarming. This is a great opportunity to learn something new all while enjoying a beautiful view and culture.

Coffee School - Our driver was excellent, but the coffee experience was just ok. We spent a lot of time in “coffee class,” listening to a very long lecture on coffee, parts of which were very hard to follow and confusing. I think it would have been more enjoyable and fun if the experience was more interactive and perhaps in smaller groups.

Nice staff, not great ponies, need partial refund - Samuel was great! The way the tour was organized was not. I went with my friends looking forward to riding some horses and while we learned a lot about coffee and had a delicious lunch there were no horses to ride. We sat around for 20 minutes until we realized there were only 3 horses on the property (and around 10 people waiting for a turn). At around this time, they told us that the extra horses are actually rented out from local people and that those extra horses hadnt arrived, and that they might not arrive at all. This meant we would have to wait and take turns doing 15 minute routes when it supposed to be a one time 25 minute spin with our whole group. Given the uncertainty and time crunch, we decided to leave early (again, no harm, those horses seemed pretty anxious and we aren't experienced riders. Everything up until this point was great.) and we were told by our guide we'd receive a refund, and we didn't! I think they've got two experiences, one with horses, one without. If you're not going to ride horses, then this was a cute experience and we had fun. If you're looking for a longer experience with a ride on horseback around the property, I'd say go for another tour.

Dangerous horse back riding - The hotel pick up was on time and the gentleman was nice and courteous but did not speak any English. The coffee tour part was ok even though it was overtly promoting the farm's products. Lunch was ok. The horse back riding part was very dangerous because we rode on the paved shoulder of a highway next to fast moving vehicles. My horse was startled by a large truck and became hard to control which could have resulted in a major accident.
