Fantastic Tour Experience - This was one of the highlights of our two-week trip to Colombia. We were picked up and returned to a general meeting spot and driven to the coffee plantation. Our tour guide was Alejandro. He was very entertaining, informative, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were given an excellent introduction to coffee farming, including the opportunity to go up into the mountain to pick coffee. A full-sized lunch was provided as well as coffee tasting. We would highly recommend this experience. Such good value for the experience. We can't say enough of Alejandro and the staff at the hacienda and the fantastic day we had (8.5 hours from pick-up to drop-off)

A tour never to forget - Did the tour with a group of friends and from the time we arrived to the minute we left we had an amazing time. Just the morning cup of coffee in the morning admiring the sights and introduction was a pleasure. Our tour guides Walter, Liz, and Paca (el perro) were fun, very knowledgeable and overall amazing! I would highly recommend the tour as not only is it very informative of the whole process of making coffee but the location and sights are stunning!

Fun and Informative Day - Fun and informative day! Their driver picked us up in El Poblado and drove us through parts of Medellin that we hadn’t seen before (really cool!). We arrived at the finca in Santa Elena where we were greeted by our guide who served us some great coffee and gave us a brief history of the finca. We then donned traditional attire and climbed up to the fields to pick coffee cherries and learn about coffee varieties. We brought our harvest back to the hacienda to learn about the different drying and processing methods. They served a fantastic Colombian lunch where we met the finca owner (great guy). Finally we had a great and super informative lecture and coffee tasting in the tasting room.

Best ever tour - This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. I learned so much! The lunch was delicious and the hacienda was beautiful. Daniella’s zeal was evident in the way she taught us. It was all so enjoyable.

Authentic, beautiful and informative - ideal coffee tour - I chose this tour because it felt more authentic than many of the coffee tours in Medellín which are clearly artificial plantations designed for tourist entertainment (although I'm sure those are fun too!). Casa Grande is a 7th generation hacienda and genuine historic home, so while there's no "coffee spa" or swimming pool, it's beautiful, calm, and authentic. I visited today for the coffee tour, booked directly via WhatsApp, and this was a perfect half day adventure. It's worth going for the views of Medellín alone, which are spectacular, but if you're remotely interested in coffee, you'll learn lots too (and enjoy the beautiful historic house, almost 200 years old). Our kind guide was very patient with the group's many questions and nothing was too much trouble. We learned the basics of coffee production, then went out into the plantation to pick some coffee cherries, processed them by hand, and visited other production areas, including drying and roasting to learn about the full process. After a lunch break, an absolutely delicious meal served family style in the house, we had the opportunity to taste several coffees and understand how the different processing styles affect the flavour. Say hi to the goat, dog and cats too!

Coffee history, growing and roasting at La Casa Grande - Walter was a great host and guide. The tour mixed learning about the history of coffee with exploring the plantation, picking coffee cherries and learning about depulping, drying and roasting. We planted seeds and ate a lovely lunch before tasting. Great fun and well structured.

I'm not coming back, Recoletos 21 Madrid - We ordered a sea bream ham for black, they brought us a ham that was not even class 4. We ask for service I am disabled so let's see how the step goes up. My friend and I feel trapped Very high price for an inedible and unacceptable dish, and a small entrance I understand that in the past it was the meeting place for the literati of Madrid, "create fame and get started..." my advice is not to waste your money on that place.

אם אתם ישראלים, אל תבואו לכאן, הם אנטישמים - אם אתם ישראלים, אל תבואו לכאן, הם אנטישמים! If you are a Jew or specifically Israeli this is not for you. The tour guide implants his own political view on the group and made us feel very unwelcome, unsafe and super uncomfortable. I'm sorry for your experience. It is important that guides remain neutral and respectful of all participants, regardless of their background or beliefs. If you feel comfortable, you might consider providing feedback to the tour company or organization about your experience so they can address it and ensure future participants have a better experience.
