Within this Comuna, often termed a ghetto or slum, one has the opportunity to embark on a historical exploration through its districts and select streets. This journey includes an examination of the public gallery created by graffiti artists, whose work on numerous walls encapsulates the collective memory of the region. The locals regard Commune 13 as ‘The finest veranda in the metropolis’.

A great cultural experience - Carlos was super informative and did a great job guiding us through Comuna 13, explaining the significance of various murals and their history. It was very smooth and we enjoyed the tour.

First time in Medellin best time in Medellin - We had Danny Hincapie as our tour guide he was very knowledgeable very respectable on time and showed us a great time I will recommend him to my friends that will be there next month. Great guy.

Amazing tour to discover Comuna 13 - We had an amazing time during the tour! our guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the city and the story of the country. His english was perfect, which is not always easy to find in colombia.

Amazing, in-depth, culture experience - Overall, great experience and private tour was able to get an in depth perspective and understanding of the people and the lifestyle changes in comuna 13 and it was big community but definitely a sense of togetherness anongst the people. Altogether it was a fun experience and will definitely come back again and let others know about it. Jaime did a phenomenal job of tell me all about past vs present and the great changes.

Communa 13 & Cable Car Tour - Juan was amazing.
He was very personal and informative. We enjoyed the safe and efficient cable ride to see impeccable views of Medellín.
I highly recommend booking this tour and requesting Juan of you want a tour to remember!!! 10 out of 10.

Great tour, worth the price. - Great tour! Our guide, Yalmir/David was very knowledgeable and able to answer ALL of our questions (we had many). We booked a private tour for six of us and it was WELL worth the extra money. We were able to stop for a bathroom break, grab a snack from a street vendor, and take our time. I recommend splurging on this tour if you're interested in the history of the city and Pablo Escobar.

Comuna 13 at sunset - It was a fun and interesting tour with Carlos. He was really cool and the neighborhood loved him which made us feel comfortable. The best part was having a later your start, so we got to see the sunset at the top of the comuna. We wish we had seen a little more graffiti art in other parts like we thought, but overall it was an enjoyable tour.
