Just a short 45-minute journey from the city of Medellin, you’ll find San Sebastián de Palmitas - more commonly known as Palmitas. It’s one of the five rural divisions, or corregimientos, of the Medellín municipality. Positioned in the city’s northwest, it shares its borders with the municipalities of San Jerónimo in the north, Bello and the corregimiento of San Cristóbal in the east. San Antonio de Prado corregimiento and Heliconia municipality lie to the south, while Ebéjico municipality lies to the west. This corregimiento comprises of 8 Veredas and the Urban Head.

Awesome - Awesome coffee tour with Valentina as our guide. She was hilarious and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about coffee and I can apply my knowledge since I'm a scientist.

Amazing tour. - Great overall experience, would highly recommend. A must do Tour. Experience the picking of coffee a taste of it and the history of where coffee and variety of of coffee’s.

Great tour experience - We absolutely loved this tour - one of the favorite things we did on our trip to Colombia! They were great with communicating with us all the details about the day, and were right on time to pick us up from the hotel. We did the english speaking tour with Amelia who was so knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interactive. The tour started with learning some history about coffee and trying a cold coffee drink. Then, we got to go through the whole process of picking coffee beans, de-shelling it, learning about the washing and drying process. We ended with getting to try 3 different coffee drinks, a delicious dessert, and then a traditional lunch. Could not recommend this tour enough!!

Awesome if you have the money for it. - The tour was really good, but I do think it is over priced for what you’re actually receiving.
I can’t lie. The tour was very fun and entertaining and we really did learn a lot about coffee and the history behind it in a fun and dynamic way.
Our guide, Amelia, was very knowledgeable and was super fun to talk to and we were shook to find out that she was only 16 years old! She has an awesome personality, and we were all very interested in everything she had to say!
My husband came from the US and this was a gift so if you earn in dollars, this really isn’t that big of a deal but if you actually do the conversion then that’s when it becomes overpriced for what you’re getting in the tour.
