Great Falls Park - Experience a SELF-GUIDED Audio Tour of Great Falls National Park.
The tour commences at the Great Falls Visitor Center.
Great Falls Park boasts the 3rd largest waterfalls in the United States and is one of the largest national parks easily accessible from Washington DC. With a $20 vehicle access pass (not included in the Viator package), visitors can enjoy full access to the expansive Great Falls Park grounds and trails.
The Viator package offers a comprehensive step-by-step audio tour, complete with a walking map that syncs with your phone’s GPS, and a narrated tour featuring over an hour of commentary about Great Falls and its hidden gems.
To ensure a seamless self-guided tour experience:
Due to potentially unreliable cell phone service, it is recommended to download the VoiceMap app and the Great Falls Tour before entering the park grounds.
When using the VoiceMap app, please enable GPS/Location to activate the GPS-triggered tour.
- Matildaville Trail - Explore the remnants of an abandoned city once visited by the first president of the United States, George Washington. Stroll through the ruins of a long-lost chapter of American history.
- Great Falls - Witness the third largest waterfalls in the United States. A must-visit if you’re in the Washington DC area. Enjoy three different viewing platforms for these breathtaking waterfalls. Additionally, take in views over the Mather Gorge downstream of the falls, and observe hikers tackling the challenging Billy Goat Trail cliffs and Potomac River cliff rappelling, including Romeo’s Ladder and Juliet’s Balcony.
