Mbarara - It is hoped that your flight will arrive early in Uganda. The safari adventure begins at Entebbe International Airport, where a professional tour driver-guide will greet you and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a significant sanctuary for mountain gorillas in Uganda, home to over 300 gorillas, nearly half of the global population.
The journey will take you by road to southwest Uganda. You will cross the equator, then proceed to Mbarara city for lunch, and continue through the hilly landscapes of western Uganda into Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation and unwind, preparing for the Bwindi gorilla trekking adventure the following day.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After a delightful breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post for a briefing on trekking etiquette. Enter the enchanting Bwindi Forest, famous for its steep, densely forested terrain interwoven with animal trails accessible to visitors. The trekking duration and terrain depend on the gorillas’ movements. Once a gorilla group is found, enjoy an unforgettable hour observing these gentle yet endangered creatures.
Lake Bunyonyi - Return to your accommodation, check out, and transfer to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. Surrounded by lush, green-terraced hills rising to heights of 2,200 – 2,478m, Lake Bunyonyi’s charm is enhanced by its 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across its waters.
Depart Lake Bunyonyi and return to Entebbe Airport for your flight
Entebbe - Savor a leisurely breakfast with views of the beautiful islands of Bunyonyi. After a challenging day of trekking, relax at the serene Lake Bunyonyi, famously known as the “place of little birds.” After your gorilla trekking adventure, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. On the third day, the group will return to Entebbe.
