Deriving its name from a local monarch, Mbabane Kunene, who resided in the area upon the initial arrival of British settlers, Mbabane is Swaziland’s capital and largest city. It nestles along the Mbabane River and its offshoot, the Polinjane River, within the Mdzimba Mountains. It’s located in the Hhohho Region, where it is also the administrative center. Mbabane rests at an average height of 1243 meters above sea level.

Interesting tour off the beaten path - Definitely a great way of learning more about the country and its history. Would highly recommend to do this while in Eswatini!
