String ray and turtle sighting! - What an amazing tour! Marvin was an excellent guide. Pickup was smooth and the snorkeling was great! We even saw a stingray and turtle in the ocean bay snorkel.

Snorkeling adventure - A great half day out snorkeling in different areas. Lots to see, different varieties of fish and beautiful stalagmites and stalactites followed by jumping and zip lining into a cenote. Definitely recommend and our guide was great fun

Fantastic day tour - Jaime was our tour guide. He was amazing - very knowledgeable, catered for our every need and was fabulous with our family’s two small children. The three places we visited were wonderful. We would highly recommend both the company and our guide.

Aventuras Mayas snorkel adventure fantastic - Fantastic 4-hour tour to 3 different snorkeling experiences with an excellent bilingual guide. Booked it through the Amstar rep at our hotel, very easy. I was solo & joined a group of 7 others from Canada. AC van pickup from & return to resort in Puerto Aventuras, with decent lunch included. Saw tons of colorful tropical fish, as well as a stingray and sea turtles at the Laguna Yalku in Akumal, where ocean salt water & fresh river water mixed. Later ziplined and jumped into a beautiful open cenote (possibly named cenote abierto), then a magical snorkel in the crystal clear waters of an adjacent underground cenote. I think the last two locations might have been privately owned by the tour company Aventuras Mayas, since there was a guarded gate. It was located not far from the Barcelo resort. Definitely not crowded which was wonderful.

Really enjoyed the snorkel through the cave, and especially the snorkeling at the ocean/fresh water inlet!! An abundance of beautiful fish and sea life, and we loved the new snorkeling masks!! Go! Great trip. - AWESOME!!!!!! Open cenote and cave cenote in same location so no multiple stops. Never felt rushed, plenty time to swim, zip line into cenote. No mouth snorkel due to reducing garbage cause they used to throw out after use so either just face mask or full face snorkel mask. I was worried about the underground but no big ladder to get in, just a few steps. Small groups, didn't feel claustrophobic. Or rushed.

Snorkel with stalagmites, stalagtites, and friendly fruit bats!! - This combination of 3 snorkel spots was an exceptional experience for us. We had a small group of about 10 of us and Marvin, our guide, was personable, informative and just the best guide we could have asked for. We chose the early reservation which left around 7:30am. Although tough due to time difference still in our system, I am so glad we did. We were first in the sink hole cenote and then again to the underground cave. Both were fun and different than what we've done in the past. The lunch was good but because of our early time it was at 10:30am, a bit early to be that hungry. We had frequent breaks for bathrooms and drying off a bit. The 3rd stop I think was in Akumal which had the most fish. Because our group had all strong swimmers Marvin took us out a bit further than ropes to see turtles and stingray. It was a beautiful well planned excursion and Marvin did literally take care of us like family! Would HIGHLY recommend due to different nature of the 3 spots and the organization of Adventuras Mayas.

Highlight of our trip to Playa del Carmen! - My husband and I booked this excursion last minute with our hotel as our planned trip to Cozumel was canceled due to high winds. We honestly booked the tour blindly, only asking for a tour that took us to see cenotes. We were pleasantly surprised with our adventure! We took our 3 adult children, and everyone had an absolute blast taking the zipline, touring the cenotes, seeing some of the local culture, and snorkeling. Dimi, our tour guide, was an absolute gem and made the excursion even more fun! He was very knowledgeable and somehow managed to memorize everyone's name in the group. Dimi was the best!

Horrible company! the. Do not care about the well being of their customers - We went on this tour, 10 minutes into the trip… my husband ruptured his bicep tendon zip lining and while there is no fault for that happening on this company’s behalf. However the way it was handled was unacceptable. THERE IS NO ONE ON THE STAFF ABLE TO HANDLE ANY MEDICAL EMERGENCY. They did not provide anything to help. After 45 minutes of standing there being told they were handling it, they put us in van took us to nearest hotel and got us a cab back to our hotel… $150 cab ride that we had to pay for. I asked that our taxi ride back to the hotel be reimbursed. They kept saying they would ask management and they did not until an hour before the left to go back home and gave us some email address and my emails have not been returned. I did not expect to get reimbursed for the cost of the excursion because it was not their fault my husband was hurt but they did not deal with it well. They in-fact asked us to stay on the tour until the end of the day. They did not even care that he was injured! It was horrible. They acted like we were an inconvenience and we had someway ruined the trip. I would not recommend a company that does not care about their customers Or their well being!
