Jam Packed Day - An excellent tour taking in a variety of religious, cultural and natural sights around the south-west of the island with any admission charges included. We particularly enjoyed our visit to 23 Coloured Earth and the tea plantation. 3 course lunch was included and was excellent with 4 choices for the main course Be aware that if you decide to walk to see the 23 coloured earth it is downhill on a quite uneven surface and you will have to climb back up again. Quads and jeeps are available at an extra cost. Mangesh, our driver for the day, was excellent. He contacted us the evening before to confirm our pick up time and arrived punctually. He provided an umbrella when rain threatened at a number of stops and made sure we were aware of available toilets. It was nice not being part of a group as Mangesh gave us the time we wanted to take at each location. Happy to recommend this tour to others.

Perfect guide/driver - I did this excursion and loved it! Our driver Anil was very informative, welcoming, friendly & calm. He was a very safe driver and also very knowledgeable about the places we visited. We didn’t feel rushed or pressurised at all. He was one of the best tour guides/drivers that I’ve had. If I did any more trips I would want Anil as my driver. All of the places we visited were interesting and I particularly loved the Grand Bassin and the Hindu temple. Our 3 course lunch was very delicious at a place near Gris Gris beach. I would definitely recommend this trip and also Freshverde holidays.

A great day out - It was a great day with Anup as our guide. We saw the tea factory and we were taken to so many beautiful views across the island. The lunch was at a great restaurant by the beach and the rums were numerous. An excellent trip which I would highly recommend.

Maurice Devouverte - Great à la carte tour. Ideal for discovering Mauritius with multiple typical excursions that give a real insight into the specificities of the island. I recommend our guide Anil which is just perfect and adaptable to our program. Thanks to him

Worth visiting. - Nice place, worth visiting. However, the colors are a little exaggerated in the photo. You can see the formation from different angles by getting around.

Intense day - Thanks to Agi our guide for this beautiful day and for the transmission of all his knowledge on the island very valuable, the schedule was respected, it was a busy day but it allows to discover many sites in one day. At Vallee Park adventure, we selected in addition the circuit in 4*4, it was a magnificent experience, it should be noted however that the options on the Park are not mandatory but remains quite expensive. A big thank you!!

Too much in a day - many things not covered - The trip itself was generally a good way to get an overview of Mauritius. There are a few things that were supposedly included in the trip but weren't: 1) Bottled water upon arrival --> was not provided 2) Entrance at Rhumerie De St Aubin --> As it was a public holiday, the tasting was closed by the time we arrived 3) Entrance at the Twenty-Three Coloured Earth & Chamouny Waterfall --> So let's clarify a few things here... this is part of the Valle Advenature Park and is listed separately but is the same thing. This only covers the main admission but not the transport to eh 23 Coloured Earth, which can be done by Quad bikes. You can walk to the site but the bikes are a lot more fun. Other things like the zip lines, are of course also not included. And if you decide to do such activities, it will eat into your time and other things may be skipped. Like in our case. 4) Entry/Admission - Trou aux Cerfs --> We did not go there, as "the weather wasn't good". Entrance in any case is free, so no point in adding this as "included". 5) Entry/Admission - Black River Gorges National Park --> All you cover here is the view to the falls. We couldn't walk into the actual hiking trails "as it was too muddy" and "we would need a guide"....Well, why did we have a guide that couldn't take us there? 6) Our guide was fun, but you could see that this is his 2nd job and with other guides we had during the week we got a lot more information. 7) We went to the sugar cane factory, which was not included in the itinerary but the factory visit was not possible (public holiday) and in the museum the guide did not come in to explain a few things. By and large, we were happy with the sights that we saw. But it is extremely expensive (you can hire a taxi for the full day for 4'000 Rupees...for the whole family) and you can really skip the tea tasting, etc. Also, they try to cover too much, especially if you want to do zip lines, quad bikes, etc. Also I wonder why the guide did not check opening hours in advance and propose a change of date to include everything?
