It was really an enchanted visit, discover. - An early start with the first station to visit on the south eastern coast, The Egrets islet. Nature is a gift of God. From the Jetty with a boat transfer, to discover the splendid blue sea water, a 2 minutes trip reaching the islet. First note that one should wear sport shoes as the ground is of coral, no soil, no sand, to discover the various, endemic, indigenous plant species, animals such as the big Aldabra tortoises, the fruit bats, species of birds. A one hour visit is a must if you like to explore the nature in the sunny bay next to Mahebourg village...
