All questions are answered & any confusion is left on shore as we set off for our adventure. The guide assists the patrons load into the kayaks & we start off PEDALING HANDS FREE down the gorgeous West Maui coast to the MOST popular spot for humpback whale sightings. Be BLOWN AWAY with this breathtaking experience. If it is not whale season, we cruise to the most gorgeous look out of the West Maui Mountains - from the ocean! See dolphins, turtles, gorgeous reef, clear waters & more! A unique view of Maui like none other. After your tour is completed we glide with ease back to your meet up spot, the guide helps you unload from the kayaks & we remanence on the wonderful adventure had. Incredible - This was an incredible experience. La and Andon were the best guides and made sure we had the experience of a lifetime. Loved the pedaling kayaks- it kept my hands free for taking video of the beautiful whales we came across. I would 10/10 do it again. Amazing.

LOVE THE HAND FREE KAYAKS - The whole crew were all so friendly, welcoming, and helpful! We had a great experience with Anton as our guide, saw lots of whales, and we never felt rushed or bothered, even spent extra time with him to watch him fish for cool fishies and had so much fun! Highly recommend the hand free kayaks, it was so much easier to kayak for hours straight, and also have free hands to take pictures or eat snacks :)

Easy Scenic Kayak Excursion - If you are looking for a private, relaxing kayak excursion with an engaging local, this is the kayak outing for you. We had perfect weather and calm seas. The 2 person kayak is easy to pedal and steer. It is a very stable watercraft. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We were fortunate that our guide had caught fish earlier that morning and he shared with us with several fresh fillets to take back. This was an unexpected bonus!

Beautiful day on the sea!!! - Beautiful day on the sea! We had a fabulous experience! Justin was so knowledgble about Maui landmarks and history. We enjoyed the pedal on the kayak. Very easy to get to our destination and back. We will definitely be back!!!!

Fantastic Whale Watch Tour! - Such an incredible tour. The pedal kayaks are easy to operate and the entire experience was so relaxing and quiet. It was nice to just float in the water near the beautiful whales -- there are no words! John was an amazing guide and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had on Maui. We will definitely book again on our next visit!

Incredible up-close whale tour! - Incredible experience - the best whale watching tour I’ve experienced on Maui! We’ve done boat tours in the past, but I loved how quiet and intimate it felt to see them from a kayak. Our guide, Justin, was super friendly and knowledgeable. The kayaks use foot pedals and were much easier to navigate than traditional kayaks with oars, plus it left your hands free to take photos. We saw a large pod of whales and the views of Maui were also spectacular. Highly recommended!

Epic Whale Watching! - Jeanbarakah, owner of Boomkanani, is an outstanding guide and just a good dude to spend the afternoon with. We had amazing whale encounters, boated a Mahi, listened to whalesong with the hydrophone, and just had an overall outstanding experience. Oh, and the equipment is top notch.

Epic Maui Kayaking Adventure! - My fiancé and I joined Boomkanani yesterday for a whale watching experience. It was an epic experience! From the beauty of the ocean and scenery to the amazing whale encounters to boating our first Mahi, the entire afternoon was incredible. We were out with Jeanbarakah, owner of Boomkanani. He is incredibly knowledgeable and just an awesome dude. We had a great time. Oh ya, those Hobie kayaks will make you want to throw rocks at at other kayaks. The pedal system on these make moving around on the ocean almost effortless. We will definitely be back on a tour with Boomkanani.

Easy kayaking trip in Olowalu with such beauty - Got recommended a better time of day which is early and the conditions were great then. Most beautiful spot. Our guide was very friendly and interesting and made it a wonderful experience for us. I only gave them a 4 out of 5 because they forgot to bring the snacks but it wasn't a big deal. Our guide took pictures of us and sent them to us.

Terrible communication - Booked a tour with this company and my travel companion couldn't go. Contacted them weeks ahead for a refund of one. It took them weeks and then with only a few days left before I was leaving they said they were cancelling both, but still have yet to give me my refund. I was very excited about this and have done a similar tour with another company in the past who was very professional. Be careful with this company.
