- 2644 Kahekili Hwy - AM Horseback ride is a 2-hour ride that goes gradually up the mountainside to view the waterfalls (seasonal) in the valley from a distance. Then ride down the mountainside all the way to the ocean where you will ride along the coastline (not white sand beach.) There is also an area you are allowed to trot or canter (weather permitting).

Additional Information
Maui Mountain Activities provides the opportunity to explore the West Maui Mountains on horseback. The journey takes you to view distant seasonal waterfalls before descending to the coastline for a ride next to the Pacific Ocean. Marvel at the serenity of Maui’s indigenous rainforests and the majesty of its oceans. If weather conditions allow, there’s a specific spot where you’re free to let your horse run. Along the tour, guides will capture your moments with your camera. The excursion also includes a visit to the petting zoo featuring animals such as mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. The entirety of this adventure lasts for 2 hours and includes complimentary soft drinks.

- Weight limit of 215lbs (97.72kg) Strictly Enforced
- ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

There will be a big yellow "Maui Mountain Activities Parking" sign on the left side of the road. The guide will arrive at 8am. Once all the guests arrive for the 8:15am check-in, the guide will lead all vehicles up to the ranch where the horses are located.

Horseback Adventure - Loved this adventure!!! I would absolutely Recommend this tour!! Beautiful scenery, horses were great and the guides were amazing !!!

Best Activity on Maui! - Wonderful staff with a ton of farm animals to interact with and a beautiful trail ride. I brought my 9 year old and 7 year old with me, and I felt very comfortable with their well trained horses.

The best one yet - I've been on horseback tours all over and this was my favorite yet. They matched me with the perfect horse that didn't bore me the whole time. Was a beautiful view and would do it again. Definitely the best riding tour on the island. I've done the others in maui. Choose this one!

The excitement of horseback riding - Love the chance to run the horse. Most places don’t allow that. Really appreciated Colt taking the time to explain what to do when you run a horse for the best results. I felt so much more in control. Best trip ever!!

Memory in the making - Amazingly fun! I would do it again this same vacation if they weren’t already booked. The group was larger than I expected but I think that translated to a longer experience as we went the speed of the slowest rider. The views were beautiful. I was prepped that my horse Goldie liked to run, which worked for me as an intermediate rider. When we came to the area where the horses were allowed to run single file, Goldie was ready to go so I let him loose and we flew! So fun!!! My kids who are beginner riders were on horses that ran shortly and needed coaxing… appropriate for their level. This will be a favorite memory forever.

Great tour, great guides, great fun. - The staff was friendly, helpful and fun. They took care of the two kiddos as this was their first time on horseback. Great views, good trek and highly recommended.

Two thumbs up! - Such a fun experience! The tour guides were personable and took good care of their riders and horses. Beautiful ride with spots to stop and take photos. Also so fun that they let you canter at the end.

What a ride!!! - All I can say is WOW! Other than getting married on the beach, this was my second favorite thing we did while in Maui. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We had some inexperienced and some young riders with the tour group, so it was a bit of a slow ride, but the views were amazing and near the end of the ride, we got to run our horses, if we wanted to.
The instructions given before the tour and before the run were top notch. I've been on other trail rides where they basically tell you, don't fall off, but these guys actually gave detailed instructions. If I get the chance to come back to Maui again, I'm booking this.

The guides were helpful... - The guides were helpful and knowledgeable. They did a great job matching us up with our horses and the trails were very scenic. The opportunity to run with the horses was an experience that was exciting and a nice ending to the ride. Overall, an experience we would recommend.
