Te Au Moana, which means the ocean tide, has long been a steady presence across Oceania, linking our islands, communities, and generations. Our Polynesian forebears navigated these ocean tides for centuries and held them in high regard for their life-giving qualities.

Very entertaining - The show is powerful and moving. We were mesmerized by the whole experience. The drinks were also good. There were many food options, so plenty to eat but picky eater may have some trouble since it is poke' and similar options.

Fun evening for all ages - The talent of the hula luau was great. The staff were very attentive. Loved getting a fun temporary tattoo and hula dancing myself. My out of town guests loved it.

Excellent food - bring all of your appetite - The food and drinks were excellent, and endless. Table assignments were made in advance by staff. But arrive early so that you can pick your seat at your assigned table and have better line of sight to the stage. I would not pay extra for premium seating over standard to do it again - all tables have easy view of stage area. It was quite hot in the late afternoon sun - they hand out fans when you arrive. Seated at 5pm - the show itself didn't start until 7:15pm, and wrapped up around 8:15pm with the fire-stick spinning as a finale.

Standard seating meant we... - Standard seating meant we were directly in the sun for the first two hours of the luau. It was extremely hot and we couldn’t even see the stage. Everyone looked like moving shadows. Our kids were miserable! This luau fails in comparison to Grand Wailea. They should start the event later and move tables around to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
