Embark on a surfing voyage that is fun, safe, and truly memorable! All the essentials for surfing are included in a single easy-to-follow lesson. This comprises a brief 10-15 minute on-land instruction about fundamental surfing and marine safety tips. The remaining time is spent in the water under the guidance of your surfing coach. We’re committed to delivering each student a distinctively enjoyable, safe, and memorable surfing tutorial. Our teaching methodology adapts to each student’s competency. We’ll indeed go beyond to ensure that your surfing journey becomes the most cherished part of your holiday!
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required for “Semi-Private Lessons”
- Children must be accompanied by an adult for check-in

Departure Point: Maui Waveriders located across from Kalama Park, on Kihei Road. It is on the corner of Auhana and Kihei Road, next to the HiTech Surf Shop.

Directions: If you are on South Kihei Road coming from South Kihei/Wailea, turn right on Auhana Road. If you are on South Kihei Road coming from North Kihei, turn left onto Auhana Road.

Awesome time! - Kai was awesome. Would recommend to anyone! Great family fun! All 4 of us were able to stand up on either the first or second try. Great instruction.

Fun and worthwhile experience - This was an amazing experience. We had a teacher that was very patient and kind, and carefully took us through the steps to success.

Great surfing experience in Kihei - Super fun time surfing- Mack was a great instructor! Price was great as well! Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Maui and want to learn to surf!

First time surfing - Check in was simple.
Our instructor cor my two grandchildren ages 7 and 11 wa Kaemee(?). He was great with the kids and made them feel relaxed. He also connected well with them.
My grandson(7) was quite apprehensive about being in the ocean and if he would be able to surf. Lol
He got up the first try and made it all the way to shore.
It was a blast to watch them out there for two hours. They were exhausted but want to do it again soon!
My best advice is to use zinc as sunscreen.
They provide long sleeve rash guard shirts and rubberized water shoes.

Just give it a go! - Best experience ever! Sol - our teacher, was AMAZING for both my 9 year old son and myself (nearly 50!) who had never surfed before. Totally worth doing - we were able to surf and have an amazing and fun time! Mahalo!!
