- Ukumehame Beach Park - Our Surf lessons are taught on one of Maui’s most exclusive and beautiful surf beaches. \nOur 2hr sessions include \n\n- Surfboard\n- Rash guard\n- Reef Shoes (Booties)\n- Reef Safe Sunscreen\n- Free Digital Photography\n\nWe also offer reef-safe sunscreen to ensure you and the coral reef are protected during our lessons. \n\nWe teach the fundamentals of surfing. Each session begins with a land lesson to get you warmed up and comfortable with the surfboard then we practice the skills needed to get out in the water.\n\nThe Instructor is with you the whole time and will ensure you catch all the good waves.\n\nThey will also catch most of your best moments with digital photography (go pro).\n\n*As the lesson goes on he will keep on teaching you as your experience grows challenging you to do more on each wave.\n\nWe also rent surf boards on site so the next day you can try it yourself and see what it feels like to surf by yourself.\n\nThe guides are in the water and will be looking out for you.

Must do for the whole family - Ryan was simply amazing! So professional, kind and patient. We were all beginners and he had us all doing runs by the end of the lesson. The kids said it was the highlight of their trip. Would definitely recommend and do it again.

A Great First Time Surfing! - Had an absolutely fantastic time in my first surf lesson ever! Went for a lesson with myself (45yrs) and my daughter (17yrs). Our instructor made us feel very comfortable and helped teach us the basics. He was knowledgeable and friendly. My expectations were that I would eat a lot of sand- but I didn’t even once! We were able to catch some waves and ride them in. We got lucky and saw a few whales and a turtle too. I would highly recommend Maui Surf and Soul!

Surfing on Maui - Had a Great lesson with Maui Surf and Soul, they really made a hard sport easy thank you for all the support.
I had to go in because I felt a little sea sick but the instructor Ryan came in and check on me and made sure I was feeling good. He inspired me to get back out there in the 2hr session and I ended up catching a bunch of good waves.
They also caught footage via go pro, som fun memories.
