Join us for a surfing lesson in Maui. With our skilled and friendly instructors, you’ll find yourself riding waves in a 2-hour session. Offering private instruction with dedicated focus from your coach proves ideal for individual attention and assistance. Especially designed for those who have previous surfing experience, or for those seeking undivided attention from their coach. The private lesson allows for faster progress. You can have your surf experience documented by our water photographer (extra charges apply). Surfboard, lycra surf shirt, and reef shoes will be provided by us.

Best day ever!!! - The most amazing time surfing with my girls. (13, 15 ). Our instructor was incredible and had my girls doing tricks by the end of the lesson. Icing on the cake was the turtles popping up all around us. The girls said 10 out of 10 best day ever!!!

great family bonding - My son and I took a private class together. He is 14. I am 65. Nether of us had surfed before. He got right up. After a few more runs I stood up briefly a couple times. I would like to go out again. We had a gas! Brian was our instructor and was great. I also sprung for the photographer who took some great pics. Well worth it!

Just an amazing surfing experience - Amazing experience with Surf Club Maui. My daughter and I were totally new, and we worked with Turtle for two amazing lessons. Kind, solid instruction, a great sense of fun, serious depth of experience from the instructors, and an all around wonderful time. My daughter is hooked (and even by the end of lesson one was getting into the shore), I'm frantically looking around for yoga classes to get myself in better surfing shape, and we are so inspired we already have plans for this summer. Couldn't ask for a better start to surfing for either of us. You can't ask for better!

Great experience on the water. - Turtle was a great instructor! Both kids learned to surf quickly. Kai got some great shots of them. They liked it so much that we booked a second lesson.

Experience of a lifetime!!! - First time to Hawaii!!! Kids have always wanted to try surfing. We booked the private lesson with “Turtle” and the experience was beyond amazing!!! He had my 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter surfing within 15 minutes. The pictures that the crew got were priceless!!! Kids said it was one of their favorite experiences in Hawaii!!! Would highly recommended!!!

We saw sea turtles while surfing! - Amazing experience! We are 2, 35 year old adults who had never surfed before so we were a bit nervous, but the instructor (Antonia) was so kind and motivating. The photographers are amazing so do not leave without at least looking at the photos, they are worth every penny- Ileana was the photographer when we were there and she even gave me tips to surf too. Highly recommend this activity!

GREAT LESSONS AND INSTRUCTORS - Learning how to surf. Suzy (owner) was GREAT in setting me up in a private beginner lesson. She has great equipment and staff. ANDREW, my instructor was CLEARLY OUTSTANDING!! He understood where I was coming from as well as my hopes/expectations. He was thoughtful and clear as to what I should be doing and at demonstrating HOW to do it. I came away with confidence in my ability to surf and learn from each wave I rode.
Kai (photographer) was REALLY GREAT TOO! Somehow he was in the right place and time to get some really great pics of me in my successes, which were many, as well as pics that clearly show where I need to improve. Price for everything was worth every dollar!
I WILL BE RETURNING ON MY NEXT TRIP!!!

Fantastic Lesson - Booked a private lesson and it was a great way to learn how to surf. Surf Club was very friendly and my instructor was awesome. He helped me catch my first wave of the lesson! I recommend them to anyone who wants to learn how to surf.
