Highly Recommend the Private Stand Up Paddle Boarding Tour - Our family had the BEST time in our private stand up paddle boarding tour. My husband and I went with our two kids. Our 8-year-old was able to stand up on his own, and our 4-year-old sat on the front of our boards. Both kids absolutely loved it. Our guide, Sky, was truly wonderful! With a little guidance, we were all able to stand up and mostly stay up. We got to see several turtles and an area with underwater caves. This tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We will definitely be doing it again.

Amazing experience - We had an absolute blast on the water with Sky! I was pretty rusty with my SUP skills and he was patient and thoughtful about giving me tips and ensuring I was comfortable and safe, while also catering to my spouse who was off and zooming around in no time. I was worried about submerged rocks and Sky's knowledge of the ocean floor beneath made a ton of difference. We saw beatiful coral reefs, turtles, and had plenty of photo ops. Totally worth it!

I was skeptical to do it. But next year I'll bring friends just so we can do this again! - My daughter talks me into doing things that are outside of my comfort zone, and this was one of them. I'm not the best swimmer, and coming from landlocked Missouri, I find the ocean waves very overwhelming. Plus, it's January. Won't this be miserably cold at 7am? This was the BEST experience of our trip! This January morning was pleasantly warm and the spot we were paddling was calm with small, inviting waves. At 7am, there are very few other people and boats, making it the perfect time for learning and exploring. Our guide, Aqua (who may actually be a mermaid), was incredibly fun, knowledgable, patient, encouraging, and an absolute BLAST to spend the morning with! She immediately put me at ease, and was the best teacher that a beginner could ask for. With her step-by-step instruction, we were standing within 15 minutes of being on the water. Standing is empowering and gives you an incredible view of the landscape and through the clear water to the reefs below. But sitting or kneeling is also allowed, and is very relaxing and tranquil. We enjoyed the calm waves while learning Hawaiian history from Aqua, and viewing the islands, turtles and even a rare monk seal. A few practical tips: Sun protection is a must. We wore long-sleeved wet shirts and shorts. Be sure to use sunscreen on your face. I wish I'd taken a hat and sunglasses (but you should probably have a leash on your sunglasses). You won't need a camera or your phone. Aqua takes amazing photos with her GoPro and this adds amazing value to this experience. I can't recommend this experience enough! It is SO well worth the price and I will come back to Maui just so I can share this with friends. Thank you, Aqua & Sky, for a meaningful and memorable experience for my daughter and I!

A day we won't forget! - This tour was amazing- beautiful views and so much fun! We saw many turtles and even a ray, about 4 feet across. The leader, Sky, had incredible knowledge about all of the creatures and sights we were seeing- this really enhanced our paddle. And the photos he took were wonderful too, such a great way for us to remember our day. We highly recommend!😊

Great experience, especially for first time paddle boarders! - Our guide Sky was so cool! It was our first time paddle boarding, but he was a great teacher and made us feel very safe and kept encouraging us. We even spotted some turtles while paddle boarding!!! It was so nice to enjoy the great views from the water, and Sky gave us lots of good recommendations as well :) Highly recommend this tour to everybody!

We LOVED our experience! - We came to Maui on our honeymoon! We had a lesson with Aqua who was AWESOME. Not only was it a wonderful lesson of how to paddleboard but a beautiful hangout with some sea turtles and the ocean! We highly recommend choosing this on your trip because along with how beautiful of a spot the paddle boarding spot is, Aqua was an amazing guide, we could not have asked for better in every aspect of our day!

Paddle fun in the sun! - Sky communicated with us as to the perfect way to find the launch site and exactly where he was (other activities going on there). He is a very good teacher, and is upbeat and positive. He helped us find/see a couple of turtles during our session, and was a great resource- thorough knowledge and good suggestions!!! We even learned some more Hawaiian words. Thanks Sky, we had a great time!!
