Book it! - This is the second time we’ve booked with Keep it Simple. All the teens got up on their boards and had a blast. The positive energy and enthusiasm the instructors have is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Bucket list ✅ - Wow!!! Book this experience right now! Luke and Austin were amazing. Everything from communicating before the lesson to providing rash guards and booties for our comfort. They thought of everything. They really do “keep it simple” for their students. Both of them worked with our family of 4 on our individual levels of development to where we all felt like success when we left. One of the best parts was that they have a photographer there capturing every moment. This was a bucket list item for me and it was totally amazing.

AMAZING Surfing Experience - Mack was AMAZING!! Great teacher and so positive! He was detailed and patient with all of us. My sons and I took lessons the first day and loved it so much that my husband and I did lessons the next day!! Fischer took AMAZING photos and reasonably priced. Great communication and on time - On time and great communication. We had to reschedule due to weather and the instructors / guide was prompt with communication. Got each of our students up and surfing!

Old farts trying to surf - Awesome experience. None of us are fit, but the 2 experts (professionals) did a great job to get us all up (nearly) on the boards. One of our holiday highlights! The organization, photos taken was also very well organized!!

Best Kept Secret -- Highly Undervalued Private Surfing Lesson - Where to start? Value: I researched the available options. Made decision based on rating, cost/hour, and private vs semi-private vs group. This came up on top. So that's boring quantitative analysis portion. Lesson: Our group of three was the only one for this lesson -- so 100% private. There were actually two instructors for us, so it was a 3-2 student/instructor ratio until our friend called it quits early resulting in a 2-2 ratio (not 1-1 since instructors helped out whichever student was ready to go). None of us three had any prior surfing experience; our only similar experience is snowboarding (which I can't tell if it helped or not, aside from determining if we're goofy or regular). At first, I was questioning if the advertised 20-25mins of pre-surfing learning was really necessary, but am super happy about it because Federico basically drilled in muscle memory into all of us. After not being able to surf on my first four attempts (meaning 4/4 on wipeouts), the other instructor (apologies for not remembering the name) helped me fixed my problem by watching my attempt then correcting my error, resulting in a much better subsequent attempt and then finally a successful surf (and many more after that)! Quality lesson from Keep It Simple Hawaii!! Miscellaneous: Come prepared! Bring a enough reef-safe sunscreen to cake yourself in it because once you hit the waters, you don't want to come back to shore for a re-apply. Also, bring lots of drinking water as that was the first thing everyone wanted once the lesson was over (because everyone ingested so much sea water from all the wipeouts). Final Thoughts: Current 5-star rating is well deserved! All three of us agreed that the lesson/service provided was top-notch. Unfortunately, our tip was limited by the amount of cash we had on us at the time. We were so happy about our experience that we did not hesitate to purchase the photo package to remind us of this wonderful experience. This was only our contingency event, and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it being a planned main event on your itinerary if you're looking for a fun, semi-challenging, water sport. PS: Half-way through the lesson, a sea turtle popped its head out to watch us surf! :) We all slept well that night. :) Anticipating a "Mahalo for booking your surf lesson with us!" reply. :)

Surfs up Dude - The instructors were patient and encouraging. We had a blast and all surfed easily with their expertise. The last time I went surfing it wasn’t the same experience. This was awesome
