Easy going, educational and fun. - we were encouraged to take our time during the kayak tour and snorkeling session - I did not feel like i was on the clock to end our session on time. as promised, we had upclose interactions with several turtles (within an arms length) and spotted multiple whales from afar. Lots of voral and fish to see at this site as well. our tour included lots of interseting history and some dad jokes. the clear bottom kayak experience was cool (Tip: easier to see through clear bottom if the surface is wet/covered with water.)

Live Ohana - Hawaii is so much more than just it’s scenic beauty, and in this tour you get not only amazing scenery, but a sense of real Aloha and Ohana. Owner and guide Jason brings you into his family with incredible warmth and sincerity. His stories bring you into his world, filled with lessons from history, tales of the success in restoring life to the reef, and all the creatures who inhabit it. We saw turtles swim under our clear canoes, and whales play and breech. We experienced the wonderful peace of slowly paddling over a beautiful reef. But most of all, we were treated as family. This is the real Hawaii, and you should not miss it.

Fantastic Ohana - We had a great time with Gabriel’s Ohana! They really did make us feel like family. It was exactly what we wanted: low stress, not a fitness challenge and super relaxing to just be out on the water, enjoying the scenery and Jason’s stories and knowledge about the islands and sea life. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something different to do on vacation.

Clear Kayak + Snorkeling Adventure - The clear Kayak tour was phenomenal. Our tour guide provided so much in depth knowledge on island history and sea life expertise. But our favorite part was the snorkeling adventure. The instructor is extremely patient and teaches those who are new to the activity. The waters are so clear and you get to see so many amazing underwater sights such as coral reefs, hundreds of unique fish, and the occasional turtle! He would even dive down to these coral reefs and bring up certain sea creatures for us to hold and instruct us on their purpose in the ocean. We would 110% recommend booking Gabriel’s Ohana for your next Maui excursion!

What an unforgettable experience! - I'm still beaming with joy after our private kayak tour with Gabriel's Ohana. It's clear that this family-run business pours their heart and soul into creating unforgettable experiences. The personalized attention and expert guidance made us feel like part of the ohana (family). Witnessing majestic whales up close was awe-inspiring, and the fresh pineapple with li hing powder afterwards was a delightful touch. The thoughtful bracelets gifted to us by our guide? A heartwarming gesture that embodies the aloha spirit. Gabriel's Ohana, you've not only shown us the beauty of the ocean but also the warmth and love of your family. The best guide, bar none. Book it, you will not regret it... - Jason was fantastic and very knowledgable about everything from island history to ocean life. A few things stick out: 1. one of the folks in our group was nervous of being out in the ocean after a prior jellyfish incident (CA), Jason assured her she would be fine (non in area) and gave her 1:1 instruction to snorkel. She ended up having a great time and did great! 2. He would swim down and find creatures to show us and hold. Afterwards he was swim back down and put them somewhere safe. 3. He's gets set up early to make sure the weather is right for the group. He will not take you out if it's not acceptable. I find this absolutely admirable. I mean no disrespect when I say this but Jason may be a fish or have been in a previous life. The way he is so calm out in the ocean and how he makes others feel safe and comfortable. You know when someone has found what they were meant to do, he genuinely loves what he does and makes sure everyone has great time. Equipment is top notch and the crew does a great job getting you set up. I highly recommend this excursion for your Maui trip, my girlfriend and I still talk about this day as the highlight of our trip. Be sure to book early in your stay in case of poor weather and rescheduling! Thanks Jason and crew, top-notch!

Fantastic Kayak and Snorkel Experience - This is a must do when in Maui as we had an absolutely wonderful morning. Jason is the most amazing and personable host and he really makes this tour even more special. The kayak was easy and enjoyable but the discussion and information that was provided as we glided along the reef was what made it so terrific. The snorkel tour was relaxed and perfect for any age or ability as they really take the time to ensure the experience is positive. Who doesn't want to swim with the Sea Turtles! Jason made us feel so welcome and we felt great about supporting this local family business. For a relaxing,informative and fun experience enjoying the wonderful reefs of Maui look no further.
