Check-in 7.30am. Google Maps 130 Maalaea Road, places you at the road entrance to the pier next to the US Coast Guard building. The pier is to your left. Walk onto the pier, turn left and go to the very end. Look for the large white boat with black and gold trim that says Pride of Maui on its side.

The boat ride was... - The boat ride was wonderful. The snorkeling was fabulous and the burgers were tasty. What a great experience!

Snuba tour - We had the best time doing snuba and snorkeling with pride of Maui! If you are on the fence about adding snuba to your itinerary do it! Our instructor Julie was so awesome and really knew her stuff, she made us feel super comfortable going into it! We had an amazing time!

Fantastic trip! - Amazing trip! The crew was incredibly attentive and professional. The boat was spacious, super clean, and fast (we passed several other boats on the way to the crater). The food was great and there was plenty of it. The snorkeling at the crater was great, with lots of fish, and we saw quite a few turtles at turtle town too! Looking at other snorkeling boats, this was by far the nicest and we weren’t crowded in with a ton of other people either. Well worth the extra cost compared to some other companies. It was a fantastic experience and we will be back again!

Book this experience! - This trip is 100% worth every dollar. The staff is incredible and friendly, and snorkeling with the fish is an incredible, moving experience. There is plenty of food and drinks provided.

Eels, and Turtles, and Fish, Oh Mai Tai! - We had a wonderful day on the Pride of Maui! The crew on our boat really worked their fins off to make sure we had a wonderful experience from the minute we stepped on board. All our meals were included and we really appreciated the hot lunch after being in the water. We had two stops; one at Molokini Island where our guide kept an eye on our well being, identified fish for us and cheerfully took our picture. Our next stop was the "Turtle Car Wash" (I don't know the exact name of this spot, lol). Again, our experience was important to the crew and one of them went in the water first to verify there were turtles present to see. After our turtle swim it was time to head back to the harbor and we were provided with adult drinks or sodas of our choice. I was especially pleased with how helpful the crew was with my husband's bout of seasickness, providing him with ginger drink and ginger chews and directing him to the rear deck. Thank you Pride of Maui for a great day!

Highlight of our vacation! - This catamaran was the highlight of our family vacation! The captain (and his crew) run such a well oiled machine. Breakfast and coffee are offered right when we got on the boat. The ride out to the Molokini crater was peaceful and we enjoyed the views. Snorkeling at the crater was pristine water conditions - visibility was great and we even saw a stingray! The 2nd location we were supposed to see turtles - which we did not that day - but as experienced snorkelers we understand that it can be hit or miss depending on the water conditions. Lunch was simple but actually so good!!! Free bar after snorkeling was also a plus.
When originally looking at booking a catamaran, I guess after past experiences on different vacations I was looking for something a little more “luxurious” - although I wouldn’t call this trip luxurious, I don’t think there are many (if any) luxury day catamaran trips offered on Maui, although there are plenty of dinner cruises. Anyways - all that to say - I would definitely do this catamaran again. I was in a group with 3 couples and it was still the high light of our trip!

A wonderful snorkeling... - A wonderful snorkeling experience. Saw many fish and a few turtles as well. Lunch was great and the crew was amazing. Would definitely recommend the Pride of Maui for your next adventure!

Total waste of time and money! - Sorry folks, but this was a total waste of time and money. The Molokini Crater may have once been a snorkel paradise, it is now anything but. First of all, it is completely overbooked making it impossible to enjoy snorkeling. Between bumping into a gazillion other snorkelers, being bumped BY a gazillion other snorkelers, viewing almost no fish due to the overcrowding with people and boats, we just got out of the water and sat on the boat. If that wasn’t bad enough, they then motored us over to the turtle viewing area and neither of us saw a single one. We spoke with a couple of children who said they “ thought they saw one” but no confirmation was forthcoming from their parents. This is a hyped up, falsely advertised snorkel trip and I’m sorry we wasted our time and money. Don’t waste yours.
