Starting at Olowalu and launching our kayaks from the soft sandy beach, we will hangout in paradise and paddle above the shallow sand channels with beautiful hundred year old reef on either side.
Myself or one of our few hand picked guides will help you have a smooth experience from start to finish. As we cruise in the crystal blue waters around Olowalu weâll have the opportunity to get up close and intimate with many sea creatures, including Humpback whales (when in season). The kayaks give us the best seats in the house by bringing us to the front row of the waters surface while still maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience. After taking in the whales, weâll paddle towards the shoreline for the chance to jump in and snorkel with the abundant ocean life including; The Green Hawaiian Sea Turtle, a plethora of tropical fishes, playful Octopus & more. Photos and videos are optional! We take pride in every aspect of your experience, from safety to comfort. We truly did our best to make this tour stand out. Memorable adventure! - Such a blast! Kyle and Billy were fantastic guides. One of the most beautiful reefs I’ve seen in the Hawaiian islands. Loved that they keep the groups smaller for more personalized conversation. Would highly recommend Zephyr!

Amazing kayak and snorkel experience! - We had an amazing time on this tour! We loved the kayak and the up-close experience with the whales, and were lucky enough to see sea turtles and even a stingray on our snorkel! The whole family loved the experience. I highly recommend!

Kayak and snorkel with Turtles - We had a great time kayaking and snorkeling. Our family of 4 got lucky as we were the only group from a possible of 10 people. Billy was our guide and did a great job of explaining some of the sea life and whale migration patterns. We unfortunately did not see any whales as it was late in the season. We did however get to snorkel with a large turtle. Billy also took many pictures of the family while kayaking and snorkeling. We had a win time.

Whales - It was great!! We got to 100 yards to whales we could see their tails and hear them blow. The snorkel was really good. James was a great lead!!

Would've been great but for the strong winds - The outing wasn't ideal, but that's the fault of the weather. After we paddled far out, the winds grew quite strong and we had to call it quits and get back in. We did see one whale, but had to skip the snorkeling. James was a concerned and encouraging leader. I would have tried again but it was our last day on the island. They refunded 50% of the cost.

Maui Perfection - I loved the kayak and snorkeling trip. The view, water, equipment and guide were perfect. The length of the trip was great and never felt rushed. Shout out to Rob who made the trip fun and safe. Rob would look for sea life and show you where to snorkel. He also made sure everyone was included. We were lucky enough to see some whales. I took the whale watching tour and I think this tour offered a much closer view. Rob took some beautiful photos and video.

The perfect Maui excursion without the crowds! - This is such a great, low-key adventure to experience the ocean, kayaking, whales, fish and turtles. Plus, it gives the perfect perspective of South Maui from the water. We had a blast and Billy was exceptional!
