Great time - Maui is so great for snorkeling and doing it with a biologist is an add bonus. Snorkel there every chance you get.

Perfect guided snorkeling tour! - We could not have asked for a better snorkeling experience! Paul was incredibly patient and kind, and came prepared with everything we needed. He provided snorkeling gear, fins, flotation devices, mask defogger, a Go Pro camera for photos, and even had a freshwater cleaning station for us when we got back! All you need to do is show up in your swimsuit and bring a towel to dry off. We are glad we had a wetsuit for our daughter, though, as the water was a little chilly for her, but my husband and I were fine without one. None of us are the strongest swimmers, but never once did we feel unsafe with Paul. He brought flotation belts for us to wear, and also had kickboards for us to hold onto while we swam out. Paul stayed close to our daughter so that my husband and I could focus on snorkeling and not miss any fish or coral or turtles. =) My husband did get a little motion sickness once the wind picked up, so we'd recommend taking Dramamine if you're prone to this, especially on windy days! Paul taught us a lot about the area, the coral, and the different species of fish we saw. The biggest highlight was being able to see SO MANY sea turtles, and Paul was nice enough to snap a few photos for us. =) We HIGHLY recommend this experience for anyone who is either new to snorkeling or who wants to go with someone who can show you where the sea turtles hang out! 100% worth it!

Don’t miss this amazing experience! - We saw a turtle cleaning station with lots if turtles … it was amazing! We also loved that Sara took time to teach us about our location, the reef and the types of fish we were seeing. 100% recommend. She also took pictures and sent them to us afterwards 👍🏻👍🏻

Stunning and perfect snorkeling trip - Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and it’s clear that he loves his job! He came prepared with all the necessary gear and patience as we had a ten year old that was nervous. The area that he took us was calm and we saw so many beautiful fish and turtles! This was a highlight on our trip. Paul took beautiful pictures of the underwater life and of our family. Thanks Paul!!!

Great small snorkeling experience. - Much more chill and personal than a large boat tour. It was a little murky that morning, but we made the best of it and the guide was very helpful and made sure we all felt comfortable and that each of us got to see the cool things we found. If you are new to snorkeling and a little nervous about it, this is a fantastic option.

Lifetime learning experience - Paul was an amazing guide - very knowledgeable and super chill. We saw a wide variety of fish, lots of turtles, and amazing corals. And with all of it, he put our group at ease. Great communication before, during, and after the tour. He was very helpful with the great equipment he provided as well as teaching our first timer the basics. My 20 year old wants to be a marine biologist and this was the best way to learn about the career and the ocean. We have been on a few guides tours and a few solo snorkels and this was by far the best and most educational. It was so zen and surreal to just chill at the turtle cleaning station. We would do it again in a heartbeat

Super snorkeling experience - Snorkeling with Paul was excellent! We had really good conditions the day we went, but Paul was a total pro and I feel confident we would have had a great experience even under other conditions. He provided really good equipment, and I felt safe at all times. Paul knew his way around that part of the beach and reef very well. He was a great guide ! The highlight was hanging out with several turtles at a turtle cleaning station. The whole experience was about 2 hours, done around 10a. Highly recommend!

Fun and Educational Snorkel! - This review is long over due, but back in December my husband and I visited Maui on our Honeymoon! Aaron is an avid swimmer, where as I just swim sometimes. We visited Paul on our second day on the island as a way to figure out where and how to snorkel! Paul was awesome! Gave us a lot of information and gave us a run through of tips and tricks for the best snorkel experience we could have! He made us feel safe, and answered all of our dumb questions! He even educated us about what we saw, as well as advice on what we could see on other spots on the island. Highly Recommend going out with Paul; especially if you want a fun, but educational snorkel experience! Oh and bonus, he takes pics!!

One of the best people we met and activities we did! 11/10 - Absolutely one of the best people and one of the best activities my wife and I did on our honeymoon. I am a sucker for aquatic life to begin with so being able to go out with someone who knows the answer to every question I had and more was amazing. I was comfortable in the water, but my wife hadn't quite convinced herself it would be fun. Paul was quite helpful and encouraging and very quickly we were all 3 having a blast. I can't speak highly enough of this and will be personally recommending this to friends/family that are visiting the island. Besides that, equipment was nice, views were amazing, and overall experience was 11/10. Thanks again Paul! Mahalo

Best Snorkeling Experience EVER - Paul is the ultimate guide! Great gear! We had a 10/10 day with visibility of more than 100 yards. Paul took his time, and we were able to spend more time in places that we wanted to. We were very comfortable and had no concerns about safety ever. I was also very glad to not have to take a boat somewhere. Snorkeling from the shore was wonderful- no worries of sea sickness, wasted time, or big crowds. Paul guides from his heart and passion!
