Fantastic show - The show was incredible! The fire dancer one of the best I’ve seen. Loved the uncrowded Ohana style seating and the efficiency of the seating and expediting the buffet line.

Hawaii history 101 - The food and entertainment was wonderful. It was a little hard to see all the dancers but it looks like they are building a stage. Once the stage is complete this will be a 5 star! Really liked the MC she was informative (which I loved) and funny.

Better visibility could make this an awesome evening! - As some of the previous reviewers mentioned the visibility of the show is not great and could be easily remedied by building a small elevated platform or stage so audience could see. The food is delicious and plentiful , drinks also plentiful and the show was wonderful- the parts I could see!

Fun evening! - The show was great. Servers were attentive. Food and drinks were good. Only issue we had was we were seated near the back and couldn’t see the bottom half of the dancers. It looks as if there was a raised platform that was not usable at the time.

Poor visibility. Not worth the money - The performance was probably very good, but due to changes in seating, MOST of the audience could not see. We paid a lot of money to see heads and shoulders of the performers only. Food was good, but with the current set up, absolutely not worth it. I moved to get a better view and was not blocking anyone, but told I could not be there. Staff members wonderful.

For the $ we paid, I was... - For the $ we paid, I was not impressed with the setup, while the staff was friendly and the show was good the setup itself was not conducive to a luau

Good show-underwhelming venue/location - For how beautiful the island of Maui is, they sure chose a strange place to have this luau. The description leads you to believe that it will be on a beautiful golf course. However, you are on the back patio of an older clubhouse/restaurant/bar that is fairly small. There was some sort of performance stage/deck overlooking a beautiful Fairway. However, the performance was done in the back corner of the patio, with several pergola poles blocking our view and the deck was covered in caution tape…To be honest, I was expecting more as each night we could see the neighboring hotel from where we stayed with their luau performing in their beautiful landscaped gardens, tiki torches, overlooking the beach etc…but we chose this one because it was in the area where we had been exploring that day, in hindsight, I wish I would have spent the extra $25 or so and booked the one by our hotel. The food was good however, not very authentic as I could tell they had just sliced up cakes from Costco and opened a bag of rolls from there. Don’t get me wrong, I love Costco and the food was good, but it felt a little church function/pot luck-ish. It had not been prepared by a chef that is making things from scratch as we would’ve expected for the price we paid. Rather they were opening up store bought items and displaying them nicely on a buffet line. The show was good though and they were great performers! The wait staff was nice and attentive as well. A better venue/locations would have made this a 10, however my recommendation is to spend the extra $25 or so and let the ambiance and maybe professionally prepared meal make up the difference.

99 Cent Store Luau - Not worth the money. Food: I think most of it was purchased from Costco. For sure the desserts were. Mahi Mahi was really over cooked. Pork taste like Costco kalua pig. Dancers: all I could see were their heads. They were in a stage so there was no way for use to see what was going on. Why would the fire guy do stuff on the ground? No one could see him. There are also wood beams in the way. Emcee: she was awesome. Her voice was beautiful. She had a hard time pumping up the crowd. How can we get excited when we can’t even see what’s going on. In the middle of one performance they started pulling chairs out. It was very distracting. I’m convinced anyone who gave this more than 1 star is either the table right up front or friends and family of the workers.
