Olowalu Beach
On highway 30, just past mile marker 14 across from the "Welcome to Olowalu" sign heading west. We have a black SUV with Gabriel's Ohana on the door and a big wooden trailer. Coming from Lahaina/Kaanapali side it is just past mm 14.5 and the sign reads Aloha. Along the shore, no parking lot.

The best tour whale watch ever - The best tour whale watch kayak with Gabile on 13th. And my name is korawan. ได้เห็นปลาวาฬแบบระยะใกล้ระดับสายตา ซึ่งเราไปเที่ยวแบบคนเดียว ไม่ต้องห่วงเลยว่าพายเรือไม่เป็น เพราะไกด์ ไปด้วย เราเจอปลาวาฬหลายตัว และเราไปแบบไม่มีรถยนต์ส่วนตัวนั่ง Uber ไป ควร ควรเลือก GPS male maker 14 on map with Uber map. Everything is wonderful and amazing day and see you again. Next time I will come back for this tour again.mahalo

If you want to see whales up close, go with Whale Watch by Kayak with Gabriel's Ohana Tours - Great whale watching experience! Jason, Gabriel and Nicholas are super! Being out in the ocean, you feel like you are one with the whales. No rush, paddle about and let them find you. We saw at least 2 mother/calf pairs and a few escorts. Breaching and tail slapping. And a turtle swam by just to say "Don't forget about me!" And a couple of flying fish and a jumping tuna livened up the morning. Maybe we were the ones on display to all these local residents! "Hey guys, look at the funny things on plastic logs with sticks in their hands that keep coming out in the water!"

Highly recommend! - Great kayak and snorkel excursion! We learned a lot about the reef, the surrounding islands and the sea life. Gabriel and his mom were wonderful guides. The clear bottom kayaks were cool. The snorkeling was our favorite part. Gabriel didn’t rush us, always made sure everyone was doing well. He dove under to find us some cool creatures to hold and went out of his way to dive down and video a turtle for us! He stayed out with us for as long as we wanted. It was great!

Wonderful Experience - We had such a wonderful time Kayak whale watching. Gabriel was a wonderful guide. We were able to see a large male turtle surface right next to our Kayak and we had multiple whale sightings. This was one of our favorite memories from our trip.
Gabriel's Ohana is a small local business that is staffed by family who are so friendly and knowledgeable. If you like the peacefulness of kayaking in a serene environment, I highly recommend this tour.

We loved every minute of... - We loved every minute of the experience. The Kayaking was amazing and we saw turtles and whales swim around d and with us. My only suggestion, grab a life jacket on the way out snorkeling.

Outstanding Experience - There is exemplary service…and then there is the kind of service Jason, Gabriel, Nick and Sabrina will provide you.
There is a bit of a story behind our time spent with these fine folks that I won’t go into here. I’ll let them tell you the story if questioned about it. What I will say is that you will come to see their passion for the Hawaiian ecosystem and desire to see that each and every person receives a truly exceptional and memorable experience.
Here, you understand the full meaning of “Ohana”
We are blessed to have had the opportunity to meet these wonderful people and cannot recommend their services enough.
We will most certainly come back and visit with them again and are certain you will feel the same way.

Amazing experience! - Loved going out with Gabriel. He knew exactly where to look for whales and gave us an experience of a lifetime! Much better experience than on a big boat.

great way to start your Maui experience - This tour is a great way to start your Maui experience. We started by learning to use reef safe suntan lotion provided by our guides. Jason explained the significant improvement this one change has made to the coral in just a few years! Jason and Gabriel also provided us with life jackets and then helped us launch their clear bottom kayaks. I was able to get great underwater pictures of the coral through my clear bottom kayak! As we paddled away from the beach, Gabriel spent as much time as we wanted talking about the geology, plants, fish and animals around us as well as the island's history. When we were ready, our guides helped us out of our kayak and into our snorkeling gear on and then assisted us into the water again. Gabriel brought up urchins and a sea cucumber for us to touch. He pointed out octopus and sea turtles. He identified the fish as they swam below us. Gabriel explained each of their habitats. He helped snorkelers learn to dive deep. Jason and Gabriel were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides. We highly recommend this tour to enhance your Maui experience.

Freedom from feeling like cattle. Amazing experience!! - Absolutely great time with the family led by Jason and Gabriel. Very laid back kind and knowledgeable. If you enjoy not be held to a strict time schedule and having freedom to explore and learn, this is the right place.

Fun for the whole family. - My family had such a great time! Everyone felt like they got something from it from the 6 year old to the 65 year old. It was educational and a great experience. We saw almost everything the reef had to offer. It was fun way more than we expected. The guide was the friendliest person I met on the island.
