Loved the snorkeling tour as a beginner - We loved our first time snorkeling experience with Gabriel’s Ohana. They are a lovely team, very friendly and accommodating. As a non swimmer, this snorkeling tour was great for me and I am so happy I got to see the reefs, fishes and even a turtle. Would definitely recommend them to any beginner planning to snorkel and we would go back to them next time

Making family memories - My family had an amazing experience on the guided snorkeling tour with Gabriel’s Ohana! We took our kids, ages 5 and 8. My son wasn’t ready for the full snorkeling experience but thankfully lovely Sabrina stepped in to give him the best time with beach toys and bubbles. The snorkeling was fantastic for the rest of us. Gabriel was amazing. He is a gentle soul. It's clear he genuinely loves his job. Gabriel was incredibly knowledgeable and always ensured we were comfortable during the tour. We had great views of sea turtles, colorful coral fish and close up experience of sea urchins and pencil urchins. He also taught us about the other creatures we encountered, making the whole trip a fun and an educational experience. Thanks to Gabriel and Sabrina, we made some incredible, unforgettable family memories. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui, especially families. Mahalo Gabriel’s Ohana Tours!

Cancellation Shows Safety First - Unfortunately, our session was cancelled due to rough waters. I appreciate that they put our safety first and offered to take us the day after or another day when better weather was predicted. They responded quickly to our questions. One being how long it takes to get our refund. They said they are not paid at this time and that Viator will refund it to us in two weeks. I hope Viator will be as good as the company. We would definitely try snorkeling with them next time.

The best snorkeling tour & highlight of our trip to Maui. - Snorkeling with Jason was the most amazing & thrilling experience I have had in my life. I am afraid of the deep ocean and the animals there in lol, so to make me and my son, who are not strong swimmers, feel comfortable in the deep ocean takes a special kind of person. We snorkeled for at least 2 hours (it's unlimited) and got to see and hold some amazing sea life and observe the beautiful reef without feeling intimidated or pressured. I can't believe how comfortable I felt being 500'+ away from the shore and holding the brittle starfish, pencil urchin, sea cucumber, watching turtles, schools of fish etc. I highly recommend this tour especially for beginners and non swimmers as you will be amazed at how comfortable & safe Jason will make you feel in the ocean. The whole experience from start to finish was beautiful for everyone in the group. There were 7 of us and most of us had not snorkeled before. Jason was extremely kind, friendly, patient and very encouraging. He is also very passionate about the ocean, reef and the marine animals there in. Sabrina, with whom I was communicating before the tour, was also very kind and helpful and gave us clear instructions and tips. I highly recommend Gabriel's Ohana for Snorkeling in Maui. You will not regret it 🫶!

Very good for beginners - Great for beginners. Step by step instructions on how to snorke. Plenty of safety equipment. My wife has bad anxiety and they were so nice trying to help her. Would recommend to any one especially someone just learning

Exceptional experience and Customer service - The BEST snorkeling experience ever! We were beginners and Mr.J and Gabrielle were amazing. They were kind, patient and very friendly and not to mention funny. My daughter's I had the most amazing experience. We will be back to snorkel with them for sure! If you are looking for a hands on experience, this one is for you!!!

The best snorkeling experience of my life! - While my mom was visiting me on Maui, we serendipitously found Gabriel’s Ohana on the beach. Jason graciously invited us to join his snorkel tour. Jason was so gentle while helping us set up with our gear and get comfortable in the water. Throughout the tour, I felt full safety and trust with him as our guide. He is a powerhouse of knowledge about the reef and his enthusiasm and expertise helped us experience the magic of the ocean. While snorkeling, Jason would dive down to the bottom to find creatures for us to hold while he shares wisdom about the life underwater. Time didn’t exist on our tour, Jason let us decide when we wanted to swim back to shore. It was clear that Jason genuinely wants to help others, in his words, “make memories”, while interacting with the reef, with love and care for the ocean. This snorkel tour was the highlight of my mom’s trip and one of my favorite experiences on Maui as a resident. I would recommend a snorkel excursion with Gabriel’s Ohana to anyone, tourists and locals alike. With Gabriel’s Ohana, youre getting more than a snorkel tour, you’re experiencing a fun, educational, life-changing, journey into the diverse, magical reefs of Maui.

The best snorkeling experience with the most thoughtful, caring guide! - I really can’t say enough about our snorkeling experience with Gabriel’s Ohana! As someone who had only snorkeled once before (pretty unsuccessfully) and who is a just-okay swimmer, I had some trepidation. Jason put me and everyone in our group at ease by taking us slowly into the water, giving us instructions on how to use the equipment (little tips like baby shampoo in the mask and wearing the strap high on the back of your head make a big difference), and reassuring us that he would look after us in the water. We had non-swimmers in our group who wore life vests and got along perfectly well. Jason knows the reef intimately, and is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the marine life. He dove down to bring up urchins and sea cucumbers for us to hold, returning them to a safe spot when we were done. He led us into parts of the reef where we saw beautiful, diverse corals and fish. Aside from being a visual feast, the trip taught me a great deal. I can truly say it was one of the highlights of my Maui vacation. And when he says it’s unlimited, he means it; my daughter and I tired out before he even suggested going back to shore. Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo, Jason and Gabriel!
