Pleasantly Surprised - Excellent experience!! Our guide was very knowledgeable, loved what she was doing and had a winsome way about her which was fun. I learned a lot about "flutter by's" aka butterflies.

A great time and learned a lot about butterflies and their lifecycle - We really enjoyed the informative descriptions of the butterfly life cycle. Holding the caterpillars and feeding the monarchs from our fingers was a real treat. My granddaughter loved capturing butterflies with a flower. It was a really great experience.

This is a butterfly FARM not a butterfly garden - No fancy stuff here, straight up butterfly farm run by nice owners who are dedicated in what they do here. Roosters crowing , mango trees bearing fruits , it is a nice farm. My husband’s day was made seeing the fruit bearing trees, but I personally enjoyed the butterflies getting on you fingers, would recommend

Fun, informative and peaceful - Such a fun experience. Very low key and peaceful. Butterfly’s landed on our hands and flowers we were holding. My granddaughter loved it! Make sure to use SLO-MO for video! Learned a lot about starting our own butterfly garden. 🦋

Close encounters with butterfly’s - Loved the interactive tour. It was neat to hold a caterpillar, a praying mantis, get the butterflies to stand on my finger and hold flower stalks to attract the butterfly’s. Most tours let you walk through and take photos with no interaction. There are less butterfly varieties at this farm but the interaction and small group made it engaging and an awesome experience. The staff is extremely friendly.

Magical experience! - I recently brought my mom to Maui for an early Mothers Day trip, just the two of us. I stumble upon this lovely little Butterfly Farm on GetYour Guide, and, given my mom’s lifelong love of butterflies, it was a no brainer for me to snatch up tickets.  I’m so glad we did.  What a delightful slice of nature heaven tucked into a random stretch of roadside farm stands and food trucks.  We got to see chrysalises up close, eggs on leaves, gorgeous caterpillars munching away—and that was all just at the little tent and tables just inside the gate.  There were chickens softly chooking around our feet as we wandered from greenhouse tent to greenhouse tent, surrounded by the heavenly scents of flowering milkweed and purple duranta blossoms.  We were shown how to dip our fingers in peach juice and allowed to gently offer it to monarchs to have them climb onto our hands to feast.  In another tent, we held tiny praying mantises and learned about the complete ecosystem they are striving to honor on their land.  A third tent held swallowtails fluttering around our heads and alighting on the stalks of flowers we were given to carry with us, encouraging the butterflies to feed from our bouquets so we could marvel up close at their tiny feet (with tastebuds on the bottom!) and stunning markings.  We were offered water bottles, packets of butterfly seeds, and even fresh mangoes off the gigantic tree in the yard (they get up to 80 per day!…and hand them out to visitors)…and we left feeling like we’d spent an hour in a meditative state of zen.  Thank goodness for this place…these women…and all they are doing to care for the population of some of our most important creatures.  And thank goodness they want to share it with the public.  Highly recommend (and then you can grab lunch right there at the fresh farm stand and/or food trucks before you move on down the road!).
