As Hawaii’s most senior butterfly farm and the only one providing private tours within the State, we’re proud to be a certified Monarch Waystation. Our mission involves saving the butterflies through propagation, research, and education. Our walk-in butterfly flight house is the exclusive spot in the Islands to observe live Hawaiian butterflies. Contrary to Mainland butterfly farms, all our butterflies are locally bred and nurtured by hand on our organic farm. We refuse to buy or import butterflies from overseas, ensuring all our butterflies are native to Hawaii.

Very beautiful, fun expirence! - This was one of the best parts of our trip to Maui. The staff were all very nice, they had all the answers to the many questions all of the guests had. You actually get to hold Butterflies, praying mantis, and caterpillars! Great picture opportunities for the family. A must do if you are here and it's not raining. Butterflies don't like the rain!

GREAT experience, short but sweet and excellent guides! - WOW this was excellent. Small farm, small tour, hands on - got to hold a caterpillar and a butterfly, learned all about them! Gorgeous flowers, great people, very fun 45 minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially with kids, the guide made sure all the kids got a butterfly to land on them and let them hold a praying mantis if they wanted. Well worth your time, a highligh of our tour.

Great real life experience. - From caterpillar egg, larva, pupa (chrysalis) to butterfly, awesome and fun. Seeing and handling the bugs was fun for all ages in our group. The 3d stop had us holding plants that attract the (numerous) butterflies. Some had 5 or more clinging to their plants. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned the butterflies can see color. Glad we took time on our vacation to go on this tour. We would encourage everyone to go.

Lovely experience and worthwhile cause - This farm and the associated tour were great. We learned a lot about the steps included in butterfly growth and why Maui is a wonderful place for butterflies to be raised and hang out year round. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The butterflies were beautiful. We had a lovely time learning and exploring!

Super fun for the whole family! - The people running this farm were super friendly and welcoming to everyone of all ages - definitely something fun to do with the family! You get to hold monarchs, learn about praying mantis, and have plenty of chances for photos. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who loves butterflies, or just wants to have an incredible experience.

You don’t want to miss this one… - One of the BEST experiences while in Maui. Learned so much about butterflies and the need for humans to let nature grow and live and stop using pesticides and other killers. Jeff was so kind and let everyone hold caterpillars and showed the group how to feed the monarch butterfly. This is a “don’t miss” thing to do for sure!! Thanks for the great learning hour!!

Who knew Maui had a Butterfly Farm!?! - Absolutely wonderful! The hands on teaching was great, especially for the kiddos. Make sure you make a reservation!
