Chocolate Factory Tour - What a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed the presentation regarding how the chocolate was prepared and packaged. It was very informative plus the chocolate was wonderful.

Worth it. - It was great to see the behind-the-scenes process of how their chocolate is made. It’s not a large factory, which really highlights their focus on quality over quantity. The tour provided a lot of insightful information, and having the CEO personally guide us showed his genuine passion and pride for the company—it’s clear he’s not just about business. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming, especially Mae-Kyla, Lauren, Tischa, and the team behind the café bar. KJ did a wonderful job during the chocolate tasting, offering even more details about their process. I highly recommend doing both tours—start with the farm tour if it’s your first visit!

Fascinating! - This was an interesting experience. Our host was the CEO himself! He explained each process in the chocolate making and what makes Kuia chocolate so special. We loved the chocolate tasting but what made my day was tasting the sorbet made out of the white slime from the cacao beans! That was some fantastic stuff. I also appreciate their mission statement and what they do for the community

Fun, comprehensive and Educational Factory tour with Gunnars - The experience was incredible and the knowledge shared by Gunnars about the process of making chocolate was extensive and interesting. Loved being able to taste many different flavors. Flavored chocolate isn't typically my thing but I bought plenty to bring home and share. My favorite was the Calamansi grown in Gunnars own yard.

A great new adventure in Maui - The tour exceeded expectations. We heard the history, what makes their chocolate special and hot to ask questions along the way. Tasting was my favorite, especially at the end tasting chocolate with wine. 😋

Truly a Chocolate experience! - Learning the entire process for delicious gourmet chocolate from the owner of the chocolate farm and factory was unique and exceptional! Certainly that alone was amazing. His knowledge and attention to detail was evident as he explained the process from growth of the cocoa trees, harvesting, and drying the beans, to roasting, processing, and packaging of the chocolate. Then the tasting! Wonderful!

Quality Chocolate Experience - As a chef, I have worked with chocolate for years. I learned so much from Gunars from pod to final product. So impressed with smooth cacoa flavor with NO bitterness. Kudos for your quality, sustainability, and generous heart ❤️❤️❤️ to give back to the area. Sooooooo much better than the cruise Chocolate Tour offering.

A must visit spot for your next trip to Maui - A fascinating, informative, and fun tour! Highly recommend this stop on your next Maui trip. Chocolate is not mixed by waterfall, but the process is amazing to learn about, and I took chocolate home for family as a great souvenir! No golden ticket needed.
