Don’t skip the little boat for big adventure! - We love this little boat and our girl sea adventurer bosses— Capt. Jill and Kristina were absolutely amazing. We had a windy day, so they found us a variety of different options for snorkeling. We saw turtles, octopus, eel, whales (see momma and calf in photo) — and dolphins that came next to our boat. Felt very safe, welcome and guides were incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of the sea critters …we would recommend this and do it again.

Great Experience! - Zipping around the beautiful blue waters on the zodiacs with the Maui Mountains as a backdrop is not to be missed, especially during whale season. We had many close in whale sightings. The crew was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Snorkeling the "mother reef" was fun; saw lots of colorful fish. Tip: bring or rent a long sleeved wet suit top for snorkeling. Even "warm" tropical water can feel cold.

Fantastic adventure! - The time for whale watching and all the information about whales was wonderful! The snorting location was perfect. A fantastic time and a great memory of my Maui trip.

Ultimate experience! A day to remember! - This was an amazing tour—we drove through whale mom and calf alley—there were whales everywhere! The snorkel spot was incredible. We lost count of the number of whales we saw. The captain and crew were generous and gracious. Highly recommend this tour. We went with them twice last year and plan to go with them twice this year. In my opinion, none of the other tour companies compare to this one.

Adventures With Whales - If you want to see whales in Hawaii in the wintertime, Maui is the island to visit. There are hundreds, probably thousands, of whales in the ocean "bathtub" formed by Maui, Lanai, and Molokai. The whales come here to give birth, and to breed before returning to Alaskan waters for the summer. And Ultimate Whale Watch and Snorkel has been our go-to adventure everytime we return to Maui. The reason- We've never been disappointed! On this visit, we went out three times and were totally fascinated with the different actions of the whales. Our Captains each time were ladies who were professional and knowledgable; even on a very rough day, we scarcely got damp during a 3.5 hour tour that was all whale watching. We were one of the few boats out and we were treated to breaches (lots), tail slaps, flipper slaps, and a whole lot of jostling, "elbowing", and fighting as 3 to 5 males pursued a female trying to become first. There is nothing more exciting to us then to watch as a whale goes under your boat. Being close to the water is the only way to go. We'd particularly like to commend Captain Jill (She was Captain on previous trips) and First Mate Kristine for their great work, knowledge, attention, and help getting on and off the boat. Ultimate is in business, and making use of alternate dockage, but still providing the great, "ultimate" adventure. PS: The crowning highlight, as were returning from our last trip, was to see a Momma and her calf do a side by side breach in perfect synchronicity.

Just epic - I will never forget this amazing experience!🤩🤩🤩 - Whale watching tour was epic! 🤩🤩🤩 Snorkling was canceled due to weather reasons, which was totally fine for us.👍 The ocean was pretty rough and the waves really high, BUT it was totally worth it!! We saw so many whales jumping and slapping their tales - just amazing!!! I still can't believe I saw this live - only about 150 ft / 50m from our little boat 😯😲 Thanks to Jill, our fearless captain and Kristina who guided us perfectly on the tour.💖

Very memorable experience! - Our experience was really amazing! Our tour guide and captain were very enthusiastic and informative. Although one person in our group didn't know how to swim, they were very patient and helped her snorkel. We were lucky to see 4 Humpback whales and pods of Spotted and Spinner dolphins! I also saw a turtle in the snorkel spot. The snorkeling location was very beautiful.

Incredible Experience in June 2023 - We had an incredible experience back in June 2023, where we saw dolphins, turtles, and the incredibly varied reefs and fish that Maui has to offer and did a blue deep water swim. We are so devastated to hear about the damage in Lahaina and hope this company can come back stronger than ever. We are also hoping the female dream team who led our boat, Captain Emma and Casey are doing alright.

Emma and Shannon made it... - Emma and Shannon made it a very personal and enjoyable experience. They were both very knowledgeable of the area and oceanic wild life. We saw a dolphin pod and numerous turtles as well as a great number of fish in the reef whilst we were snorkelling. Overall it was a great day and fun experience and I can’t wait to return and do it again!

Really disappointed - This was listed as a Lanai snorkel trip. Did not even go to Lanai stating “green water”. Would never go again. Nothing at all special. Just hope Oceanriders can get back to business. Not as advertised. Descriptions different. Went to a place we snorkeled right off the beach. Utter dissapointment!
