Mala Boat Ramp - We offer Small Group Snorkel, Dolphin and Turtle encounter tours! Get away from the crowds and travel to the best snorkel spots the day offers. From west Maui the most consistent dolphin encounters are off the island of Lanai. Our Experienced Captain will pick the best snorkel spots off Lanai and or Maui. Our vessel is a rescue style USCG approved vessel, providing increased stability reduced rocking motion, and blow your hair back fun! This small group trip is approximately 3.5 hours and includes 2 snorkel stops (one snorkel stop and whale watching during whale season) with preference to the island of Lanai reefs, where you may see tropical fish, turtles, octopus, manta rays and wild dolphins! We provide snorkel gear, flotation devices and snorkel instruction! Don’t forget your go-pro and BYOB ok!
We provide non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, your invited to make a Maui friendship on the water!
Every ticket supports active local and global marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

Our locally-owned, small group snorkeling adventures make you an honorary member of our Maui family! From 1982, we’ve been conducting tours on our nimble, secure rafting vessels to the island of Lanai, discovering hidden bays, oceanic cliffs, tropical reefs, marine fauna and dolphins! These jaunts also incorporate whale spotting during their migration period (December-April). Every ticket sale contributes to ongoing marine research and our involvement in the whale disentanglement taskforce here in Maui!

Great Tour Guides! - Casey and Lacy we the best tour guides; they were incredibly knowledgeable, made sure that we were able to see as many whales as possible, and took us to a great reef for snorkelling. We had a really great time and would definitely recommend this tour.

Exhilarating, relaxing, whales and more - Simply wonderful, very intimate trip and knowledgeable crew. We saw mom and calf and a few more whales, turtles, octopus and a reef shark. This women crew rocks, they clearly love the whales and the environment and they were very kind with my daughter when she hesitated jumping into the water. Family owned small business. Highly recommend.

Memorable experience! - It was a beautiful day for this trip. We were lucky enough to see whales (a mom and her calf!), dolphins, sea turtles, and so many different types of fish. The check in process and smooth and easy. Everyone working there were so kind and accommodating. Our family had a memorable experience!

Fabulous trip!!!!! - Captain Lacey and on board naturalist Lexi did a wonderful job of finding lots of great whales to watch, and guiding us to what was the best snorkeling in Maui I have experienced in years! Highly recommend this outfit.

Don’t skip the little boat for big adventure! - We love this little boat and our girl sea adventurer bosses— Capt. Jill and Kristina were absolutely amazing. We had a windy day, so they found us a variety of different options for snorkeling. We saw turtles, octopus, eel, whales (see momma and calf in photo) — and dolphins that came next to our boat. Felt very safe, welcome and guides were incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of the sea critters …we would recommend this and do it again.

Great Experience! - Zipping around the beautiful blue waters on the zodiacs with the Maui Mountains as a backdrop is not to be missed, especially during whale season. We had many close in whale sightings. The crew was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Snorkeling the "mother reef" was fun; saw lots of colorful fish. Tip: bring or rent a long sleeved wet suit top for snorkeling. Even "warm" tropical water can feel cold.

Beautiful snorkeling! - The location of our snorkeling was amazing! We saw so many different colors, sizes and shapes of coral and fish! We also saw turtles and mama and baby whales! It was so cool when they put the microphone in the ocean and we could hear the whales singing.
