Authentic, Relaxed, and Unforgettable Tour - Our private Road to Hana tour with Lei was truly unforgettable. Lei was a bright ray of sunshine—her warmth, knowledge, and storytelling made the journey even more special. She shared her culture and personal stories with us, giving us a deeper appreciation for the places we visited. Having a private tour made a big difference: we were able to relax, enjoy the stunning scenery without the stress of driving, and experience the stops with far fewer crowds. We also loved that this is a locally owned and operated company and felt good knowing we were supporting a local Hana business. If you want a more personal, authentic experience on the Road to Hana, we can’t recommend this tour enough!

An awesome pleasant day - Lei is an excellent driver and knows half of the people in Hāna. She has a charismatic personality and care for the tour group.

Damp day but warm memories - Calvin gave us lots of great information about the sites we were seeing and other things about the volcano and Rainbow falls. He offered to take photos for groups, answered questions, and was very thoughtful in assisting people as needed. Wished we had time to do his coffee tour, but when he heard that no one was able to do that gave us a shortened but very interesting info. We were hoping for lava flow but it had happened earlier and he shared some pictures of other flows. We really enjoyed our time with him. Carol and Gene

Worth every penny. Worth doing with a guide instead of on your own. - The trip was awesome! Our guide Lei was so sweet, fun, upbeat, and knowledgeable. She knows everyone! I genuinely think that our trip was extra special because of her. We stopped at some awesome shops and scenic places, got to get some great food along the road, and she drives really well. I would definitely bring water shoes for the beach if I do this again. I am very glad our family took nausea meds because the road is wild! The sandwiches are good for lunch, there was plenty of cold water, and the van was comfy. You can also get food at the stops. Try the banana bread coffee and banana bread sundae at one of your first stops! My kids are 4 and 8 and they had a lot of fun on this trip too. The stops break up the drive and they loved getting snacks and seeing all the gorgeous sites. I highly recommend going on a tour. Your driver knows the road, knows the stops, and keeps you safe. The road to Hāna has what feels like a million hair pin turns, road work, single lane bridges, cliffs and vegetation. There’s no cell service for most of the trip. Having Lei navigate that for us allowed the whole family to relax and enjoy the drive safely. What a fun way to explore that part of Maui!

Road to Hana a must - The Road to Hana tour was a real highlight of our trip. Such scenery! Emma our driver guide was excellent and knows the area well. We made several stops so it was not just all riding along. Emma told us about local plants and customs as well as the advertised stop at waterfalls. It is a long day but well worth it!!

Hanna Road tour a highlite - This was an excellent. Our driver/guide Emma was great. Knowledgeable about the local area, history and plants and fruits. Tour made several stops so we got to see a lot and didn’t sit too long on the drive. A great day and I would recommend it to anyone or any age. It’s an early start but that is best.

THOUGHTS FROM YOUR CONCIERGE CHER - WHAT A PHENOMENAL TRIP WE STARTED EARLY WITH A HOTEL PICK UP AND WHENT STRAIGHT TO STARBUCKS. THERE WAS NOT A DULL MOMENT. WHICH FOR A 10 HOUR DAY SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE BUT CHARLIE REALLY MADE THE BEST TOUR GUIDE. HIS SENCE OF HUMOR IS JUST PRICELESS. THE BEAUTY IN THE ADVENTURE WAS NOT JUST LIMITED TO OUR SURROUNDINGS BUT WE WERE MAKING CONNECTIONS THAT WILL PROBABLY LAST A LIFETIME!

Excellent to see so much of Maui - I found the tour, very informative and extremely interesting. We saw so many things and learned much. It was a bit long for me, but I’m really glad I did

Road to nowhere - Worst money spent on this trip. Driver drove recklessly and I was up front, cursed and just kept yapping. Road to Hana is like the road to nowhere. One vendor sold a guava for $2 USD, another a coconut for $15USD. Highly overpriced tour. It was nice seeing the beach, the water was way to rough for bathing.
