October 23, Haleakala Fun - Maui Easy Riders is a great adventure. Charlotte and Billy were so much fun and informative. We felt incredibly well taken care of, and have many photos of our outing. If you want safe and exciting, this service will fulfill your desires.

Book this for an awesome family adventure! - Our tour started with Charlotte showing us the restrooms that are right next to the designated parking area. We quickly made our way to meet Billy and we all loaded in the van. They take you to the top and offer drinks and snacks. The ride along the way was like riding with two history and botany experts. They pointed out almost 100 specialized flowers and trees as we meandered our way up. They told us the history and even where famous people live. At the top of the mountain we were sized for our bikes. These are not your run of the mill bikes. These are not Huffys off the Walmart floor. These are stout, BMX type frames that are good for the whole family. They’re low center of gravity makes them easy to ride and instills confidence while carving out the corners. They have special brakes made for the heat build up of a downhill ride. The seats are as comfy as a lazy boy recliner! They provided helmets and sometimes it is chilly (like this morning) so they offer warm exterior clothes as well. Billy gave a quick, yet thorough explanation of what would happen and what his hand signals mean. He is a typical Island personality. Both he and Charlotte are super sweet, super chill, and super accommodating! We proceeded to have the time of our lives as we went down the steep hills. Nobody in our group ever felt unsafe. Charlotte followed in the van to disallow cars from passing from behind. We routinely stopped to take pics and let cars pass. There is a spot where we can’t ride through so they loaded the bikes and we headed to a small town. While there we used restrooms and visited local shops. The Cookie Lady and we bought sweets and gelato. Dear god it was great. We shared the bowl because it was huge. Perfect serving for a family of 4. We hopped back on the bike and had another scenic, scent-filled trip as you pass eucalyptus trees and flowers. We arrived back where we started. All huge smiles on our face Hey, due to the fires…tourism is down. Book these guys and tip well because they deserve it and they need it. We will recommend this tour to everyone we know!

A Must Do Experiene You'll Cherish! - Of all the amazing things we did on our 2 week stay in Maui, this trip is a must! Such amazing, kind tour guides, Charlotte and John told us the Maui history so we were informed on our way down the Volcano. Smooth roads, easy sailing and very comfortable bikes. This is important when you're over 50 like me. Plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views and towns along the way. I love the fact that there is a limited amount of riders which made the trip so personal and exilerating but relaxing at the same time. Can't beat that. The two teenagers with me were just as impressed! A most beautiful memory I'll treasure for life! Thank you to tour company who made it great!

Exhilarating bike tour! - This exhilarating bike ride was my first excursion on Maui and it set the bar very high for the remainder of my trip. I did this solo and Billy and his team always made sure I was safe and right in with the rest of the group. Safety was top notch, sizing the bikes and helmets, braking, curves, road conditions...we always knew what was coming up. We had multiple scenic stops on hill sides and towns. I couldn't believe my 65 year old self really zoomed down that mountain. Best time ever!

Highlight of our Maui trip! - Our family did the Haleakala Bike Tour with Billy and Jon and we all agreed that it was the highlight of our trip. They are personable, fun, and do their best to ensure you have the best experience - from taking great pictures and video to giving history about Maui, great recommendations, and answering all of our questions. Our only regret is not using Maui Easy Riders for other tours, but we will when we come back!

Super Great Awesome Time - My wife and I have taken multiple trips with Billy and Maui Easy Riders. It is a well run operation, that takes care of it's customers in "small batches". With an emphasis on safety -and- fun, we always felt well guided. Conversations were always enjoyable. Billy and his employees are personable and knowledgeable about everything Maui. I totally recommend them.

Best tour operator! - This was the best tour operator we had used for almost any city. Our rental car died so we couldnt make it , they gladly offered to let us switch to the next day after we were able to get a new rental car. Love the small tour format, they are very friendly and provide a ton of great information. My wife was a little nervous about some of the hills and the speed, so they let her ride in the van for parts that were too steep for her. Really great experience!

The best bike tour in the universe!! - My husband and I took out two teenagers on the bike tour. I was nervous for my kids but they did awesome and had so much fun. I loved all of the little stops we made along the way and the information our guides gave us. They were also so fun and took fun pictures that we will treasure forever. My 13 year old daughter said it was her favorite part of our Maui trip. It was safe and so fun!

Don’t Miss this chance!! - This was a very cool trip!! We really didn't know what to expect as we had done our research as to which company seemed to be the "right" one for us to descend from Haleakala. Maui Easy Riders was a SUPERB choice!! Booking with the owner Billy was great as he prepared me for our adventure over the phone. The morning of the excursion, we met our guides, Charlotte and Jon, who proved to be an absolute hoot! They alieved any anxiety and brought some great history lessons as we trekked up the mountain. My wife and I were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and the last time we were in Hawaii was for our honeymoon, 38 years prior. Charlotte and Jon made us feel special. Unlike many other companies, Maui Easy Riders only allows 6 people per session, so it was easy to get to know your fellow travelers and we became close friends in a very short time. They have a specially built cruiser bike that has a huge, extremely comfortable seat and and massive disc brakes for both wide tires. The ride is exceptional and you feel very much in control. There is no "push" for you to speed down the mountain, and until everyone was comfortable with their "sled", the downhill journey was held at your own pace. The van follows you down the mountain and runs interference for cars that might be coming up to pressure you. No worries or anxiety here. If you need anything at all, they came prepared to assist you: Rain gear, pants, windbreakers, snacks, water and Gatorade. At any time, you could have access to the stuff you might of brought in the van. We made several stops to take pictures and view the landscape and learn of areas to be aware of as they might be coming up. Charlotte was a great leader, guiding us with hand motions and instructions for our safety. She and Jon communicated with walkie-talkies to navigate the traffic and the care of the riders. We all shared some great stories as we learned all about the route and history of Maui. I can't recommend Maui Easy Riders enough. Their care and concern for your safety and adventurous spirit made our trip extremely enjoyable. The 6 of us riders enjoyed the journey so much, we all had lunch together, laughing and sharing more antics from the excursion. Don't pass up YOUR experience!!
