Friendly local owner that wants to be sure you have a great experience! - Amazing! Super professional and safety oriented, but really friendly and down to earth too. Unlike the other classes that were in the water at the same time with dozens of students, these guys are focused on making it a personal experience, and making sure you get up on the board and have fun. Couldn't be more appreciative they got both me and my son up surfing, we had a blast.

Surf Yoga Maui - the BEST on Maui!! Had a blast! - Summer, Eddie and the SYM crew are the BEST!!! Summer helped us book an early morning lesson for our family of 4. They provided water shoes and rash guard. We arrived to Kalama Park a little early. Eddie explained everything to us out of the water first. Had us practice on our boards in the grass. Then we went into the water. I do not like open water activities but this was so fun! The water in the cove is shallow and the perfect beginning waves (for nervous people like me). Eddie helped get us balanced on the board and lined up with the waves. After a few pushes from Eddie, my kids were popping up and doing it on their own! My son was even doing a little jump trick! The entire time in the water Eddie would help get us in place, coach us, and cheer us on! He helped my kids paddle back out for a wave when they were getting tired from paddling. I'm so glad we had the individualized attention from him! We had so much fun we ended up going back 2 more times! Thank you Summer and Eddie for helping us create lasting memories in Maui!

Fun day of surf - Lucas was a great instructor, the only part that sucked was the number of people surfing in the same spot. Of course that has nothing to do with the lesson, and the ocean is open to all, but it was a little annoying and scary surfing on top of people (literally). I would recommend this company and highly suggest surfing with Lucas! We will do it again for sure when we are back in Maui. Mahalo!

Worth your time in Maui! - What a fabulous time we had! Eddie is an amazing and patient teacher. He explained things well, taught us good technique, and we were both able to get up and surf that day! Not something I thought I could do but with Eddie's help we both did it. Super fun and now we have a new skill. Highly recommend!

Excellent time - My two daughters took the semi-private lessons and loved every part of it. Both of them were super successful at it and ended the lesson surfing successfully. It was the best way to learn surfing in Maui.

Best Surf Lesson on Maui - Surf Yoga Maui was by far the best part of my Maui trip. I was only planning on surfing for one day, but ended up coming back for multiple days. After booking, Summer was quick to respond with everything we needed to know about our lesson. She was personable, kind, and helpful in answering any questions we had. I surfed with Eddie each day and can’t imagine having a better surf instructor. He is patient, insightful, funny, kind, and makes you feel so comfortable in the water. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is, he provides the tools to help you succeed and makes the entire experience fun. I can’t recommend Surf Yoga Maui enough. I can’t wait to come back to Maui to surf with them again! Thank you Summer and Eddie for the most memorable Maui experience!
