Join our globally renowned surfing tutors! We stand as the sole Billabong Surf School throughout Maui!! We’re the most private and exclusive Billabong Surf School in both Kihei & Wailea. To truly immerse in the authentic Hawaiian experience, there’s no better way than surfing. Dive into the mystic ocean just like the primal Hawaiians. The ratio will be 6:1 or even lower.

A great surfing experience! - We had a blast learning to surf! Eddy was a great instructor: patient, fun, and informative as we surfed and waited for the waves. Perfect activity for my daughters that are 12 & 14 and for us parents too. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! - Highly recommend this! Easy to find. Provided shoes, shirt, & boards. Instructor did lesson on land then got us in water quickly. Also helped with safe way to dismount given the rocks. Instructor got us all up & surfing quickly. Also had Elijah taking pics the whole time for purchase. Strongly encourage them!!

Best time for catching waves - Our kids surfed with San and Lucas. Our kids are 8 and 10, they had a blast and wanted to go again the next day. They had lots of rides on the waves, saw a turtle, and just had a blast. We highly recommend this group for kids. Sean took our pictures and did a great job.

Best time (and first time) surfing! - Husband, tween and teenager loved it! The staff was friendly, the photographer took great photos while cheering them on and San (the instructor) was just phenomenal. Highly recommend this and would do it again!

A must do when in Maui - My boys, 14 and 17, had a wonderful time!! Our instructor was great and the photographer captured awesome pics that we purchased. Highly recommend this business.

Highly recommend this company! - A great way to get comfortable on a board! Great instructor our three kids really enjoyed. By the end of the lesson, our three kids (11, 14, and 18) were catching waves on their own!

Amazing vacation lesson - The team at Waves Hawaii was extremely thoughtful and respectful of our son with mild autism, offering extra help if we wanted it. Our two kids (11 and 8) had a fantastic time, as did their adult! Incredible, close up pictures were provided too, which was totally unexpected and an awesome bonus. We'd love to come again.

Great place to enjoy warm Hawaii and meet new friends. - wonderful location being 50 yards from great snorkeling with turtles and lots of fish while being 150 yards from a sandy beach and body surfing. Staff are very experienced and helpful. Barbeques in great shape to cook Ahi. Very friendly family type visitors.
