AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING - Just back from a snorkel and dive trip. In one word, "AMAZING!". Great boat ride, incredible spots and the small group offers a spectacular and personalized experience. Captain Chad and dive instructor Brian are first class. You won't regret booking a trip.

We keep coming back to Blue Water Maui! - We have now used Blue Water Maui 3 times. Once in July 2021 for snorkeling and again 2 times on our Feb 2022 trip. This trip (02/22) we booked for whale watching and again for snorkeling + intro scuba diving. I don't have enough great things to say about this company. We love the smaller sized boat which makes it easy to get from location to location and is just fun to be in all around. It is also nice to not have to "fight" for a "good" seat as anywhere you sit you are guaranteed a wonderful view. We really enjoy the small capacity as it allows for a much more personal experience during the tours. The crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answer every question that was thrown at them and educated us about the island and ocean throughout the tour(s). During the whale watching tour we were able to zip around and follow multiple groups of whales. At one point we even had one swim right up to the boat and pop to say hello. It was absolutely breathtaking. When I went scuba diving for my very first time with instructor Mark and another guest. It was amazing!! He really made us feel safe and instructed us on everything we needed to know to make for a great first experience. During the dive Mark continually checked on us to make sure we were feeling good and enjoying ourselves. He also was pointing out different sea creatures that I would have missed had he not spotted them for us. I highly recommend this company and have no doubt that we will use them again when we return in September. A few tips if this will be your first time going out with them - Bring a windbreaker or sweater with you. It gets a little chilly when zipping around on the boat. -Bring an extra towel if snorkeling. They switch locations a few times depending on weather/water conditions and its nice to have a dry towel in-between. *If you have a lunch option I highly recommend the veggie bowl they offer. Its absolutely delicious 😀

Amazing SCUBA and snorkel trip! - We had an amazing experience! Captain Hollis was an amazing guide for our intro SCUBA, she took us through a collapsed pier and we got to see so many sea turtles, sharks, and other cool sea creatures. Captain Mark was also really great and super funny as was Brian(Bryan?)! Great trip, would totally do it again :)

Amazing trip and crew! Would book again 100% - Blue Water Maui, Captain Christina and Deckhand Nixon were outstanding. What a friendly and knowledgeable team. My husband and I enjoyed the adventure and snorkeling spots chosen by the team. The crew took pictures for us and Nixon was even able to get my camera under the water for a recording of the spinner dolphin pod that we encountered. The crew obviously enjoyed their jobs and knew what they were doing! It was great hearing history and cultural information about the islands as we moved from each spot. We had some engine trouble that required limping into the island of Lanai and cutting our trip short-- and the crew were amazing! There were so many things that they had to organize and handle: including getting tickets for the Ferry ride back to Lahaina and ensuring we had transportation back to the wharf we left from. The professionalism, humor, and grace that the crew handled the situation was fantastic. Management called and issued full refund for our trip. Very high level of customer service! We would 100% book trough Blue Water Maui again.

Best Snorkel Trip Ever! - We went snorkeling with captain Jimmy and Deckhand Devon and had an amazing trip! They were very friendly and knowledgeable. We went out as a family with our 11 and 9 year old. My nine year old said, “this was the best day of my life!” Will definitely book this trip again when we return to Maui.

Fun Filled Day - Wow! Had the most fun filled day with Captain Mark, Bryan and Chad on the Blue Water Maui Charter. Unlike some charters, this is a smaller group size and they provided a great lunch from a local favorite restaurant. We went to Lana’i for some beautiful snorkeling and then on the way to our next snorkel/scuba location we saw a whale AND local dolphins up close! This was definitely a highlight, especially for my husband! Crew is very helpful, knowledgeable, but most of all fun! They definitely went above and beyond, especially when I ended up getting a little sea sick. I would highly recommend adding Blue Water Maui Charter to your list, you won’t be disappointed!

An Unforgettable Experience! - This was our 15th trip to Maui and this snorkel adventure was amazing. Despite an unusual South Swell, which made the waters choppy and difficult, the excellent crew was able to find serene spots for snorkeling. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and hundreds of exotic fish species. Overall, a trip that we will never forget. The crew was very cool and professional.

Great for families and beginners!! - Blue Water Maui (BWM) far exceeded our expectations for the afternoon snorkeling trip - we are a family of non-swimmers and beginners, which is why we chose BWM for their floating platform. Captain Dan picked a great calm spot in Honolua Bay and the platform served as a great way to ease into snorkeling. But what made it amazing was the personal attention we got from Nickson, who patiently spent the time to take each of us into the water, get us comfortable to be on our own and help us really enjoy seeing the corals, fishes and all the underwater beauty. They made this trip special for us! The boat ride was amazing in its own right, especially as we got to see a massive pod of spinner dolphins on our way back. Highly recommend BWM!
